And we're back.
I didn't really have much of a break. I was trying to find things to cover that mostly didn't end up working out. But things are moving again now, so stay tuned!
Congrats on 100K! Honestly, I'm so glad that RUclips recommended your excellent MyHouse video to so many people.
play dark messiah of might and magic if you really wanna defeat enemies in multiple fun ways like in En garde
If you don't have other ideas for what to cover, I think your style would really mesh well with the game Fear and Hunger.
Jumplight sounds like exactly the kind of game I've been waiting for, a spaceship management game where it feels like you have enough crew members and ship elements to really capture the feel of what a deep space voyager would have to be. TOBOR also gives me some real Do Not Feed The Monkey vibes, which is a good thing in my book.
To me, it's making me think Space Battleship Yamato.
Viewfinder's demo had me hooked the second I held up the first picture. It's one of the few demos where I actually said "NOOO" when it told me the demo was over. Can't wait for the full release!
Yes, viewfinder there’s something so relaxing and escaping on an elemental level about that game. Also TOBOR seems amazing from what I’ve heard and if it’s worth your time, then it’s probably worth my time. Thanks ^^
Already have En garde in the wish list. Thanks for your two cents about it. 👍🏻
"en garde has kicking" sold
Apogee released another great demo this fest called Quest Master where you create your own Link to the Past dungeons. I dunno if the boom shoot trend brought the company back or what, but their return’s been really impressive so far
3:56 oh god no not again. Is the layout the same as the house here too?
Viewfinder definitely has a Superliminal like vibe. And if it's anything like that game then it's going to be very fun and then it'll make me cry at the end. Can't wait for the full release.
thank you for making these videos
you are really finding some gems i would not find
because i dont really try things out with the next fest
but ye
keep doing what you're doing
Great selection.
That photograph game is absolutely incredible looking.
Try the muller-powell principle, great demo.
TOBOR reminds me of Night Trap or Double Switch with its premise.
I don't know it kind of reminds me of a darker version of don't feed monkeys
Viewfinder made my jaw drop. Can't even remember the last time any game managed to do that.
Laika: Aged Through Blood and En Garde! were the highlights for me personally. Both incredible demos
The climbing in Jusant reminds me a lot of this game called GIRP, which was the "sequel" to classic funny flash game QWOP. Seems like a very intuitive way to represent rock climbing
Really excited for En Garde. Looks pretty fun
God Hand would be a fun video subject.
it rarely gets proper non-gameplay focused videos about it.
don't encourage him
So happy someone else is signing the praises of En Garde! The moment I played it, it reminded me of Sekiro all over again. I think its great that people like you bring eyeballs to so many great indie titles. Great video!
>signing the praises
Honestly I’ve seen some of your vids before my house. But omg I could not ignore your insane skill after that vid. ❤❤
cool video
thanks
Hell yeah welcome back!
Cool list of games, but why isn't the muller powell principle here? add in the next release.pls.I'm really looking forward to this game
Definitely excited for Rise of the Triad!
mate, do a video on whatever, I would watch it, you da best
En Garde is amazing
8:12 Those Jusant controls sound like an expanded version of what Asobi did for ASTRO's Playroom, which is awesome
Interesting that they remade Rise Of The Triad again. I think the other one was an adaptation rather than a straight remake though.
It's not a remake. Simply a remaster. The game was very hard to get running properly on newer PCs. So yeah, this is just the original game with some quality of life enhancements and one new chapter. Much like what Nightdive does with a majority of their games.
Was impressed by Viewfinder and surprisingly charmed by En Garde. The demo for Fortune's Run was interesting, but I'm not sure about the end product. It's also not a new demo, but I really enjoyed finally playing Luto: The Choice. I appreciate these videos as it's hard to play more than a handful.
My favourite demo was Fortune's Run , you should check that out .
Ah Nightdive, consistently one of the best studios in gaming.
Two of your games in Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition and En Garde! are two of the seven Steam Next Fest June 2023 that I played. As far as ranking my seven demos that I played ROTT: LE and En Garde! are the two breads of the sandwich for me with ROTT: LE's demo being my top bread and En Garde! being my bottom bread. Growing up with the subgenre of the classic first person shooter genre watching my dad play Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, and the Shareware ports of Shadow Warrior and Rise of the Triad I was kicked in with the first person shooter genre as a whole during it's Golden Age. En Garde! is at the bottom because the demo is just ridiculously too short and the games combat with the moves and all can be confusing. Steam Next Fest June 2023 on the other hand is my personal best experience with a Steam Next Fest with free demos I've had yet!
Glad you are back! Jusant looks really interesting, sadly a lot of games had a rather bad track record of fixing fps issues before launch lately so i'm cautiously optimistic.
Hello, I really liked the list, but I can't understand why there is no the muller powell, why do you think?
don't sleEp on the game - hahaha I love this channel, for this and for "my time to shine!" I'm very happy I subbed
Bro, do you know when the muller-powell principle demo will be released?
En Garde! looks to be the Zorro game that we deserved.
Tobor looks to me a bit like don’t feed the monkeys
It's festing time
En garde looks awesome and I’m looking forward to it but comparing it to godhand sounds sacreligious
While it doesn't have God Hand's customisable combos, it does have its enemy reactivity. Kicking an enemy against the wall and seeing them splat against it is very specific endorphin kick, and that's very much God Hand's bread and butter. A key aspect of both games too is taking cocksure but exaggerated enemies and pantsing them publicly with your own goofy fighting style, and that's hugely enjoyable. The spirit of God Hand is here, if not its technical mastery.
I’d love to see a video on carrion here
I think Viewfinder could be very much like Superliminal (and better) if it lands the mark
jumplight odyssey looks very space battleship yamato-y
No Antonblast?
yay
I hope you do some DND and Call of Cthulhu’s like basic systems or vampire masquerade tabletop version
I had no issues on Jusant... weird
Shame to hear you haven't played Kotor 2 (or 1 either lol), but they're not going anywhere so no rush.
is TOBAR out yet? I cant find it on steam . . .
Yup - store.steampowered.com/app/2081310/TOBOR/
Much like yourself, en guarde reminded me of dark messiah, arkane's first breakpout success. If they're able keep up the creativity, I'll be happy.
I know, arkane hasn't forgotten about fans like me but... well... if m$oft could give them a real chance to shine, I'm here.
Jusant's performance issues are likely related to bad loading screen and LOD placement, shouldn't take too much to fix it
Don't count Arkane out yet. There's two Arkane studios, Austin and Lyon. Austin was originally just a support studio for Lyon (The main studio).
RedFall was forced on Arkane Austin by Zenimax before MS bought them. When that happened a majority of the staff left leaving them understaffed. Microsoft actually gave them more time and told them to take out lootboxes.
I think the best thing would be for Austin to go back to being a support studio, especially since they are understaffed and now have the Redfall mark on them. It seems that Microsoft is kind of hands off, so here's hoping their next game is something they really want to make.
@@Gatorade69 thank you, I really needed to hear this.
You played Rise of the Triad and didn't show the psychedelic mushrooms??? common' man!
I could be alonr in this, but Jumplight Odyssey gives me FTL mixed with Evil Genius vibes and im absolutely here for it. (Yes I'm still bitter about Evil Genius being bad)
Review warhammer boltgun pls
Where is a new game documentary
Could u make a vid about tf2 PLW
Wake up, new power pak video just dropped
we gaming?
First
Both Nightmind AND **Vanoss Gaming** of all people gave that MyHouse.WAD video of yours a shout out. What was I meant to do. NOT subscribe?
Boy am I glad that your myhouse.wad video was plastered on every recommended list I had
your myhouse.wad video almost immediately made me download doom 1 and 2 off of steam, and I've even begun making my own wads, so thanks for opening my eyes to doom
Cool list of games, but why isn't the muller powell principle here? add in the next release.pls.I'm really looking forward to this game
