Links to all games featured here are in the description. As is a link to the new Patreon. Thank you to everyone who's supported me, in any capacity.
Hopefully next video won't be too long until it's fully charged. See you then.

The first time I "tried" in Slay the Princess and saw what happened after I said "oh my god" out loud.

Oh! I didn't know Slay the Princess would be voice acted, and so well! I've also had a really good time with Scarlet Hollow, which is more like.... southern gothic horror, maybe?
I also got into games by watching my dad, he used to play Max Payne.

Thank you for making me feel old. I played Max Payne in middle school.
I also got into games by watching my mom play Super Mario Bros 1, 2, 3 and watching my dad play Mike Tyson's Punch Out.

Honestly I think my only problem with demos both from a consumer and a business mindset is the time it takes to make them versus the legitimacy of what's made. There are lots of companies out there where the demo they've made was far better than the game it was built from...I.E. Aliens - Colonial Marines and virtually every single press demo of a Ubisoft title since forever.
That being said, I really want to give some of these games a try. Dredge especially. That looks like fun.

All your examples are of AAA titles, we know even the gameplay reveals of those titles are often faked too. I personally think demos are great for indie games, especially a title that is doing something new and different. Then there are cases like Forspoken where the demo actually showcased the game and plenty of people were completely dissuaded from buying it.

    5. I love the performance of the narrator from TMA! Its good to hear their work on that narrative driven game.
    6. Yeah! Indeed I too love the contrast or mixture of ideas in this sci-fi game! It must be runnable for my low spec desktop! Oh how I wish there are more light weight video games that are this interesting.
