I will give actress Dorothy Provine MAJOR CREDIT. She REALLY delivered on her portrayal of Bonnie. I think even far better than future actress portrayals. The film also shows how bored she was of her dull waitress job which is only mentioned in future films. She should have been nominated some kind of actress award for this one.
That was very common in the 30s. The early vacuum tubes would somehow channel alternative timelines from both the past and present. Alas vacuum tubes are no more.

the introductory music is 1950's R&B, w/ some R & R and blues thrown in. ahead of B&C's time. Les Paul had already invented electric guitar. even the bluegrass in 'BONNIE & CLYDE'('67) is 15 years ahead of the mid-early '30's.
For the time period being in the early 1930's it was interesting that the background music was rock and roll. 50 minutes into the movie. Electric guitars were not in the 1930s
Actually, the first electric guitar was invented in 1931. It was the Rickenbacker Hawaiian Steel Pan (lap) guitar. But yeah, the Rock 'n roll music is totally wrong.

A very well done film all around.Excellent direction. Awesome actors. Great locations. Superb cinematography. Kept me watching with great interest. Thank you very much for posting this excellent film. The only problem had to do with a bit of music which sounded like it came from the 1950s, which seemed odd for a film set in 1933. The disconnect for was such that I could only. watch that film for about five minutes. Le Moulin Rouge was the setting. First Knight also has this problem. I don't get that.
