My dad was a rum 🍹 runner for Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie once bought a pair of short pants 👖 for my older brother. He was about 5 or 6 years old at that time. He told her that he damn sure wasn’t going to wear those sissy pants. When he was older he got so mad about the way one of his uncles was treating his mother 👵🏻 that he would have shot him except he was standing too close to the new refrigerator and he was afraid 😱 he would miss his uncle and shot the new refrigerator instead. 😅😅😅😅😅😅
The Original "For My Man." If the storyline depicted is close to truth, Bonnie eventually did this because Clyde threatened her life, "if you leave, we'll be in heaven together faster than you think." After that, she committed to the mission, and him.

good movie. it is awful how much suffering /sorrow criminal people inflict on people around them. It is amazing that true love is so powerful. Bonnie and Clyde love prevailed. there is one sentence I take away: " you can't live life one day at a time" It makes me wonder... even cop killers are still very much human. from their perspective, they killed in self defence/survival. once you kill a cop you can't surrender, they would shoot you anyway. clydes brother did not get any medical attention, they held him up to take pictures. I feel sorry for Bonnie. her love for Clyde was stronger then any reasoning. if this is a true story , then some woman love is beyond/to death. I respect Bonnie for that. American woman are special?
My cousin’s family friend father met Bonnie and Clyde when he was a boy in Rowena, Texas. His family later moved to Louisiana and saw them again after they were killed.
@@revans1961 I may be the last living person that had a personal relationship with one of the Bonnie and Clyde gang. W.D. always treated me good. He was shot to death in Houston in 1974.
out of all the bonnie and clyde movies this was my favorite i remember watching this on tv when i was a kid we recorded it on a vcr before dvds came out
My grandfather new Clyde and his father. He always said they were not shot like in the movie. He said they were shot while they were sleeping. In the car and that was the only way they could have taken Bonnie and Clyde.
From all the video`s I have watched on RUclips Of Police shootings on the Likes of Police Activity, Donut Operator and the many others, The odds are very much that they were shot either unaware and or just panic shot, They always attempt to justify even absurdly that they took out the bad guy like in a John Wayne Film, The last two I watched a bloke was shot in a WalMart by the tills holding a bat, And the other was shot holding a shotgun by the tip of the barrel arms stretched out with his back to the Police, In both cases they were aimed kill shots I understand the Police have to deal with these dangerous situations, But don`t lie about it
It's a great movie Bonnie and Clyde when two people are really truly in love with each other the passion of Love did they have for each other it's may God bless you all that made this movie it's the greatest inspiration on love honesty and respect
They were murderers, how can you glorify that.. it has nothing to do with love and everything to do with total selfishness, leave it to Hollywood to make you feel compassion for crimminals who commit haneous crimes!!

Bonny and Clyde died together and to me that's what love is. Sure they did bad things but they seemed like they where really born to be together. Edit: Bonnie not bonny
Bonnie Clyde were considered folk heroes. People were cheering them on, helping them evade the authorities. It's really something how they became a symbol for rebellion against the government back then because of what was going on.

@@donaldleavy4379 you can not recreate to a "T" every exact move of an event, you can get close, or to the point of where it resembles the event, ur taking my statement out of context sir, but what matters is that these people done a hell of a job of making the movie, regardless, it gives you ideas of how B&C was. No movie ever made has been 100% accurate. The new Elvis movie that's coming out is no where nerd accurate but it gives great details on who Elvis was.
Slightly better then the Warren Beatty movie. In that they were like early thirties. Not just at out their teens. Both had faults but at least they covered the car accident. Bonnie hardly could walk after that
The 1967 version of this movie is the best and most iconic. This movie takes you right off your feet from the first minute. And people love this movie because they hate governments.
Books are always better . That one guy wasn't even in the movie . That left them and didn't want any part of that life anymore . They didn't mention about Clyde walking with limp for cutting 2 toes off and getting out early . And Bonnie burn legs she never walked right either with a limp also . Clyde did hit Bonnie too but she stayed because she loved him so much and he was obsessed with her and love her too. This was a story that always I found very interesting . Yet how much they loved each other . They really did but criminals and murderers .
Bonnie also hit Clyde, which usually resulted with him hitting her back. She was a scrapper and had a temper. When she was in school, she often picked fights with boys and bullied other girls. She was NOT some delicate flower, if that's what you're implying. She was tough! She survived several gunfights, injuries, and a car crash.
She was Meg on JAG always loved Meg instead of Mac gor so mad when they introduced Mac I stopped watching JAG.She was also in the Division as C.D.Lorenzo.I was so precocious as a child lol watching JAG around 8 years old.
The role of Bonnie is played by Tracey Needham. She was in a few Lifetime movies, but was better known as Paige, the oldest half sibling on the '90s drama "Life Goes On". She starred alongside Patti LuPone, Chris Burke and Kellie Martin. She is as apple pie as they come. I only wish that series was back up here on RUclips, I miss it.

Donald Leavy I was born December 30, 1967. From the Jim Jones cult massacre to the Trudeau administration. As you said, we have lived to have witnessed some of the craziest things in history.
Both dead at 23 and 26 years of age! Bonnie would limp forever and eventually be unable to walk- at 23 years old! Bonnie was actually burned to the bone with battery acid and fire and never walked normally again!
This is very realistic, they were young,I've only watched 17 min...so far.Basically Clyde being 32 and Bonnie 23 corrupted an innocent girl, relatives, witnesses said she never once shot at a law officer, which ended in tragedy. This is a good move.
Clyde (b. March 24, 1910 although his tombstone erroneously reads 1909) had recently turned 24 when he was killed on May 23, 1934. He was less than a year older than Bonnie (b. October 1, 1910), who wasn't so innocent. Growing up in a rough neighborhood, Bonnie was a tough cookie and a bit of a scrapper. She also was a drama queen and show-off. She threw tantrums when she didn't get her way and did whatever it took to get attention. Not surprisingly, she had aspirations to become a famous actress. Bonnie was an accomplice to several armed robberies (including of banks and armories), car thefts, kidnappings, murders (including of cops), Clyde's jail break and later the Eastham prison raid. Yes, she fired a gun several times and knew how to shoot. For example, she took part in the famous Joplin shootout. Toward the end, both B&C were heavily armed and had hand guns hidden on their person at all times. They were willing to go down fighting together. It is unclear whether Bonnie directly killed anyone (not all historians agree that she was innocent of the Grapevine murders), but she often (re)loaded the bullets that injured/killed others, so there's that. Of course, her family would say she never shot anyone. Newsflash: Families often lie for their criminal children and downplay/excuse/deny their crimes. Clyde's mother also lied for him many times. Remember, they continued to meet with B&C in secret and were later tried and convicted of harboring them.
Found this yesterday but finally got around to watching it today. Or should I say rewatching it? I saw it when it originally aired in the summer of 1992 -- which kicked off a lifelong fascination with B&C -- but had not been able to find it anywhere, including online. Brought back a lot of childhood memories and nostalgia. Thank you.
If you enjoy reading there's a book called Go Down Together. The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde by Jeff Guinn. Also there's My Life With Bonnie and Clyde by Blanche Caldwell Barrow
@@tiamorales5099 you know how many times they’ve escaped before? Taking them in was no longer an option, and they were given a chance to surrender. This was also a very different time, it’s was nearly 100 years ago. You have to understand that
They murdered 13 cops, the grand total was much higher and includes a kid working at his family's gas station that they murdered for $4 in gas and even less than that in the register instead of just driving away with the loot. My favorite was the guy they kidnapped then shot in the face AFTER his family paid the ransom!

even cop killers are still very much human. from their perspective, they killed in self defence/survival. once you kill a cop you can't surrender, they would shoot you anyway. clydes brother did not get any medical attention, they held him up to take pictures.
I feel sorry for Bonnie. her love for Clyde was stronger then any reasoning. if this is a true story , then some woman love is beyond/to death.
I respect Bonnie for that.

I agree. It showed the sociopaths for what they really were instead of "folk heroes" and "tragic lovers."

Watching Oct 21, 2024 very interesting movie such a waste of these young lives
My grandfather new Clyde and his father. He always said they were not shot like in the movie. He said they were shot while they were sleeping. In the car and that was the only way they could have taken Bonnie and Clyde.
That can’t be true, there’s footage and everything
From all the video`s I have watched on RUclips Of Police shootings on the Likes of Police Activity, Donut Operator and the many others, The odds are very much that they were shot either unaware and or just panic shot, They always attempt to justify even absurdly that they took out the bad guy like in a John Wayne Film, The last two I watched a bloke was shot in a WalMart by the tills holding a bat, And the other was shot holding a shotgun by the tip of the barrel arms stretched out with his back to the Police, In both cases they were aimed kill shots I understand the Police have to deal with these dangerous situations, But don`t lie about it
Am I the only one who's stucked on how he threatens her if she ever leaves him
The woman who played Bonnie's mother did a great job.

Thanks for share this movie. I was looking for JAG episodes just to see this beauty Tracey Needham. Woow she looks amazing in this movie.

Bonnie Clyde were considered folk heroes. People were cheering them on, helping them evade the authorities. It's really something how they became a symbol for rebellion against the government back then because of what was going on.
Sad to see how Bonnie Parker and even Blanche Barrow's lives were totally destroyed. And for what, love.

Excellent movie and so closely accurate to their real lives.
Really You think so??? Cause Other Spelling Their Name’s Right,, Not so much.. ESPECIALLY The Ambush/ Assassination .
@@donaldleavy4379 that's why I said closely accurate, no movie ever made has been 100% accurate to any biographical movie. But several scenes in this movie according to what I have read and studied is pretty accurate.
@@jojoowens9309 like What.. please enlighten Me.. cause like I said.. they spelled the names correctly.. that’s about it..There net NEARLY Showing what happened to Bonnie… she burned by Sulfuric acid REALLY REALLY BADLY… & Never Really Walked Again . At best she hobbled… mostly Clyde Had To Carry Her .. that’s not my opinion…& Bonnie s Mom Was Much much older . So was Clyde s . No offense but you’re statement is wrong.. hay you didn’t know it ok. IVE BEEN INTO B&C Since The Move Came Out In 1967,, & that was a little closer then one.. witch isn’t saying much for that one either… BUT Warren Beaty Did A Hellava Job.. thanks

But it is not historic accurate at times. At least they closer to the real ages in this movie 21..and 22
Will forever admire the Love and Loyalty they shared.
Bonnie and Clyde's memory will live forever

I was born December 30, 1967.
Yes!!!!! Iwould love to be a member of bonnie and Clyde Facebook RIP 💕👍

Thank you.
I was a kid when the original came out in 1967 and my aunt took my brothers and cousins to go see it at a drive in
I remember watching it in the 90s too! I was a kid.
If you enjoy reading there's a book called Go Down Together. The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde by Jeff Guinn. Also there's My Life With Bonnie and Clyde by Blanche Caldwell Barrow
Y Bonnie so tall??
Tony Scott of Variety says the chief fault of this version is "in turning the sleazy Bonnie and Clyde into a pair of sympathetic characters."
