Sleeping under the stars and breathing that pristine air while you sleep must be intoxicating. I love it!
steak and corn is my go to meal when moto camping. fresh muffins or cookies for dessert and in my oatmeal or granola for breakfast. You can burn a lot of calories rideing the twisty roads and turning your head to catch the view. Keep up the good work and all the good spots will be full of motorcyclists. You got my vote for best adventure motorcycle adventure trip video series. Great work Sterling.
Thanks Tom - there's lots of good spots still eft out there! The funny thing is how many people ask for my GPS tracks when there is are so many amazing places to discover without having to exactly know where you are going. I didn't!
You've probably looked into hammock camping, but a ridge line for that hammock would make it a lot more comfy. What do they call a camper that smells like steak in a hammock? A Bear Burrito!! LOL. Great video.
I ain’t gonna lie…these awesome gourmet meals you cook on this sojourn are being borrowed by me and my wife appreciates it just as much as I do…😎
What a fantastic series! The videography, the narrating the scenery...all top notch! Very inspiring .
Awesome video 😉 thanks for sharing👍
Fantastic sceneries 👏👏👏
Great roads👏👏👏
Beautiful video 👏👏👏
Greatings from Portugal ✌️✌️
Sterling, you definitely set the bar high for motorcycle camping videos. Just awesome!!! Looking forward to many more... these are the best.
Hi Sterling, thank you for being my inspiration on starting my new adventure in solomoto! I have done 2 trips, one to Lucerne Valley and other in Big Pine, CA.. Solo has been a confidence builder in self reliance, the solitude has been peaceful, and the adventure has been empowering and PRICELESS! Keep posting you great videos!
Everything taste better at a campsite :)
Wow! Amazing series! I was hooked from the the get-go out of Bisbee. I had ridden through there in February of 2020. Beautiful town. Thank you for the incredible production. I've just run across this and I'm sure someone has made the reference prior to my input but I have to say you are so chill and easy to listen to as you narrate your journey. There are times it is like listening to "Mr. Rodgers" as you ride, explore, experience and share. I do mean that as a complement. Cheer!
Sterling Sterling Sterling. I've told you this before. The filming, pacing, narration and especially your delivery is.....just right.
Correct. Absolutely spot on, on all!
haha Yes, you definitely don't want to smell like a steak in your hammock - not in remote Wyoming, anyway! Grizzlies just might be attracted to that!
Great video series, I'm enjoying watching each one of these videos.
Sterling, I can't tell you how much I am enjoying this series. Absolutely perfect!!! Thank you so much for such a great series.
i love the cooking part
More Steak , thank you. Love this part of the adventure - you’re in deep, content, and flowing unobstructed. Why we ride.
In deep... yes, I was hitting the essence of it, pure flow!!!
What an amazing series Sterling, the videos, the open road, the soundtrack and what a brilliant drone footage!! Thank you very much for sharing!! 👍👍
I love how your series underscores taking the time to enjoy the things " you " want to do and accomplish during this adventure. The way I would wan to roll. I see so many riders blast through their adventures with so few photos and video. Awesome quality footage as usual. Kam
your production quality is a '10' .what a great country , you have showed me parts ive never seen. ~ JDS/CT
I really enjoy good food I cook all the meals at home so I like to cook fresh food whenever possible, I do carry three freeze dried meals for emergency backup but nothing beats cooking real food outdoors, it just taste so much better, or so it seems.
The drone shots or fantastic. I love the way you cut the video scene's and blend them with the music. Great work.
So great, another wonderful episode. You eat & drink well, love it. I’m actually thinking about one of those little fire boxes now! You are a photographer, motorcyclist, AND a salesman (-: Oh, those shots around the bridge and in the Wind River were really special. peace
Simply the best👍😋👏🏼🏍💨💨
Your music choices are excellent.
I enjoyed the cooking & dinner part well, I could feel it 😎👍

Sterling, You've inspired me to make a similar trip this July! Coming down from Edmonton, Alberta and hitting Montana, South Dakota Wyoming and then back up through Idaho. Camping the whole way. Thanks so much for this series. I think I've watched it start to finish 5 or 6 times.
Awesome! I hope you have a great ride!!!
Epic!

Amazing videography. Inspiring....
GREAT VIDEOS SIR !!!!!!!
Great video as always
Recently discovered your channel and really enjoy the scenery but even better is your relaxed, calm demeanor and your camping setups. I hope to do this myself in 2021. Thank you for taking the time and effort to put these episodes together.
You hooked me with your NEBDR series and I'm still here! Love your videos. If I can't be doing it at least I can be fantasizing about it through you! Thanks for making these vids. :)
Keep those videos coming! One of my favourite camping meals is a baked potato. When you get the fire going in the evening just wrap a potato in aluminum foil (shiny side in) and toss it in the coals. Turn it once or twice but in 45 minutes you will have an awesome bed time snack as the fires dies down. Put in a little butter or sour cream and some bacon bits that you can get from some of the fast food places. Dam, I am making myself hungry :)
I live in Cody wyoming and work for the Forest Service here, and head out into this forest daily. The scenery still takes my breath away after 3 years of working here. Alsoe next time you're in the area go west from Meteetsee and head to Kirwin. Its an old abandoned mining town in the middle of the mountains, beautiful stretch of road. very isolated and lots of G-bears but it's worht it
Brilliant
Dang, that steak looked good!!!! Good video - thanks for posting.
Thank you Sterling, I think we meet on a Southwest flight 2 years ago we talked about how much we had in common. Love your video's Brad Izzo
Love the Wind River area
You can also cook the corn with the husk still on, I just twist off the tassel's and throw it on the coals. Gonna be doing the same this this august with my 74 year old uncle, gonna be interesting
Nice video. You're doing great my friend.
Keep up 👍👍👍
😂 'cuz then you might BE a steak in the middle of the night! Great series, Sterling, thanks for sharing it with us 👊🏼
Thanks for sharing your adventures. It's allways nice to see an advriding brother in the world enjoying the good things in life. The meal looked yummy as h*ll. Happy trails! /new subscriber
Very nice
Fantastic miniseries ! Hello from Romania !!! COngratulations on the videos! Man those jeans took a beatting, what are they?
Came here from Ofcr Robs recommendation, you have a great channel/videos, really enjoying watching them.
Wow I really need to buy a drone and also need to make some notes on how to edit my travel videos, very inspiring :)
A W E S O M E
Dinner looks awesome but I can’t eat that late….I’d be sick all night for sure.
Brave man to smell it up like that in the bear country
Try Forest Rd 10038 it starts in Alpine Wyoming and take you south to la barge Wyoming. Beautiful road. About 100 miles and 4-5 hours to do.
I do solo rides as well. I always carry a fly rod for entertainment and fresh fish if needed.
Yeah, that's a good idea.
Your work stands alone, however, given the current political and pandemic times........your work helps to showcase and remind us of the beauty of the natural world. Its refreshing and MUCH needed. Thank you my friend. Ps, Please stay on the road until we re-find NORMAL in America ;-)
Sterling, I started watching and had watch the whole series. Can you detail your riding gear?
I plan on making a video detailing all of my gear in the near future. Thanks!
Exactly! As I said on Episode 14, don't want to be Bear Food by smelling like a steak.
I remember seeing a loaded up BMW GS go through Riverton when we went downtown to get groceries, it could have been you when you came through. You never know. I would have been cool to be able to chat with ya and we would have went and got the KLR and rode with ya for a little while. I love your stories, we don't have much for a youtube channel right now but we do have a blog with a lot of info of our travels.
Hi Sterling. I am really enjoying the adventure. As I long distance Aussie motorcycle traveller, I would love to see a list of the stuff that you took with you. Over tyhe years we each refine what we take, but can also learn from others.
🔝
I never thought of it that way, but I guess you probably don’t want to smell like a steak while you’re camping in the middle of nowhere! 😅
👍👍👍👍👍
Do you have a video or somethin on the gear you use? I love you channel!!
So you're grilling your steak and a quick segue to an ad with a steak being grilled... Thanks for another video
Lovely vid! Informative and helpful.
I was wondering how did you get the batteries of your drone and camera well charged for all that filming?
How many extra charging banks did you carry?
Which types?
These videos are incredible. Amazing job! How do you get your moving drone shots? So good!
Great video. What camp ground did you stay at? I'm from Wyoming. I love going through the wind river canyon area. When did you film this episode? Safe travels. 🍻
Hey Sterling, thank you for this series, it is a great quality content.
Question: when sleeping in that hamak, how do you deal with mosquitos and other little bugs that could be interested in visiting you during night? Thanks!
I came here to ask the same question. I see some hammocks that have a mosquito net, but so many that don't. A video on your experience with the hammock would be great.
Finally some edible food! :)
Great series. Love the views & the equipment tips. What knife is that you're using to split wood for the box stove? Stay safe, keep the rubber side down & the steak smells off.
It’s a Gerber strong arm fixed blade knife.
Fantastic series love it how was the hammock with the bugs is there a Mosquito netting ?
Nope, no netting and bugs thankfully were not a problem on the trip.
@@SterlingNoren you have inspired me heading from basically toronto ontario to Calgary this spring then onto jasper loved the series ill share some pics
