Im using Mr.Diy lacquer but this only available in Malaysia. For alternative you can use any lacquer or fast dry gloss finishing acrylic spray paint. :)
@@BearBearCammy thank you for your reply! I heard that in homeware shops there might be sand in the cement which is not suitable for this type of craft. Thank you for the recommendation though. Could you perhaps tell me the brand that you use?
@@hajrasiddiqui684 Well, it depends on which type of tray you are using. You will eventually know what you need to sand. Just remember the surface you want the terrazzo to pop out, you need to sand it.

Hello how are you? I live in Brazil and I want to make cement pieces. Here the cement is always mixed with sand and I see that you use it only with water. Could it be that the material similar to this is mortar?
Hi, I’m good here. I’m from Malaysia and our cement here only mostly mixed with water. But for some construction use, they do mixed it with sand for more durability. I’m not sure all the cement is standard or not. But why not you try a small portion mix only with water? If it work, it shall be the same. Good luck 😊
Nope. I only add with water. But if your mould is too big or your cement is too thick, you may want to leave it dry (not under direct sunlight) for 2 days.
I have tried a lot to make show piece by using the mixture of plaster and white cement, but failed. It was so fragile I could not make any product. Can you please tell me how can I get proper result?

Hi, do you mix enough of water? Is your vessel is huge? Most probably it still contain a lot of bubbles inside. You need to patiently tap all the bubbles out so that your cement will be more compact. Good luck :)
I used Portland White Cement and it easily breaks. It tried drying it for 2 days but it was still brittle (even minimum force crushed it). My ratio is 2:1. What should I do?

Hi, I think time to change to another brand. So far with the correct white cement, mine only broke once which it put it under hot and cold temperature 😬
i know it's called wet sanding but you shouldn't add so much water. you lightly dampen the piece, you can use a wet cloth and wet your piece with it for example. otherwise you get so much water you dont create enough friction to sand and you will end up spending hours sanding.
Mind-blowing 😮

Is there an exact measurement of water
Hi, sorry i do not have any exact measurement for this. But i will take note on this :)
we don't use sandpaper inside of this jar? any reason
The inner of the jar is smooth. So there is no need to sand it.

Try to make it by using only white cement. If that work, something wrong with the plaster. Try to change another plaster.

Hi, there is no name / brand. I walk into hardware shop and tell them I want a white cement. And they weight me the 2kg cement 😅
Hello! Where do you buy the cement please ??
Hi dear, this is an inexpensive white cement you can get it from any hardware store.
I tried but when I demould it get brake
White cement never break when demould. Either your process is wrong or the white cement got issue.
i like it
Thank you 🙂
Did you buy the cement on Amazon?
Hi, I bought the cement in my local hardware store.
@@BearBearCammy is it Portland white cement type 1?
@@lkenglish9756 in my country they sell in in separate packaging without any brand. I believe any white cement will work.
What is the name of the color?
Any brand of acrylic colour will do :)
Why water comes to top in my mixture? Any idea guys?
The excess water that is not fully absorb by the cement will rise to the surface. Normally i will use a paper towel to absorb the water.
how to glue the foil to the cement?
U can stick the foil on the surface and the sealant will do the job. Foil originally is sticky. If it do not stick, u can add some glue on it.
