- Hello! Today I am making some terrazzo trays using concrete powder!
You can make them waterproof by sealing them with acrylic varnish, wax or varnish 😃

Yes! Adding sand can make them stronger.

Hi , just came across your video , I tried to sand the terrazzo planter which I made but it left a rough finish on it the smoothness is gone ? What grit should I use ?
Hi, you should end with finer grits like #800 to smoothen the surface
Mine cracks 😢
Practice makes perfect! There are several reasons it cracks. One is temperature, too cold or hot affects the cement from drying properly. Second is the proportion of water to cement, make sure it’s 2:1 ratio. And lastly, don’t unmold them too early, it takes at least one day to dry completely. Hope your next experiment turns out great!
