I love your channel. Getting a Ctrl HP. the LED seems to show well in the gaps with non shine through caps. Did you have to take the keyboard apart to take off the stabs and put the bandaid on the PCB or can you do it through the gaps on the plate. ALso have you thought about adding foam between the PCB and plate?
Does the band-aid really help with the sound? I have seen people talking about the plate-mount stablizers don't actually hit the PCB but seems like everyone is doing it lol
Hey, sorry about the comment on an old video, but I am having trouble removing the plate-mount stabilizers on my ctrl high profile. In the video, it appears that you are simply inserting a small screwdriver into the openings, but this hasn't worked for me. There are small tabs inside each stabilizer, but pushing them in does nothing, and some appear to be stuck. Do I simply need to push harder? Thanks.
I think it was pretty tight so I pushed the driver hard and lifted up little bit while pushing. Maybe pushing hard can break the stabs.. Be careful and good luck, bro!

I hope they sell again and internationally, so I want to get other color one! My favorite switch is Tealios! It’s super smooth and exactly right spring force for me. XD
I'm using this with Box Jades and SA caps, trying to get rid of that hollow sound to make it sound fuller.. to see if I like the full sound or hollow... I don't like the floating keycap sound... 🤔
mikeisu When looking at the integrated plate, it makes the case look hollow and this keyboard is surprising lighter than the KBD75v2 by 200g. I ordered it and then was worried because I wanted to get an aluminium keyboard with solid case walls for a much nicer sound.

It has some built in configurations out-of-box, but its also QMK and I think Via compatible, so you can use any profile/configuration you find for your layout and customize it how you want, including the rgb
Why your Aliaz switches sound so incredible but, the video that promotes them in kbdfans doesn't sound that great? It's because the quality of the recording or there is another factors into play?

@@3ildcat Yes, I have found that and set to Low but the CPU usage is still high and becomes really loud (9th i5 with graphic on it). Frankly, I didn't notice huge or any difference between Low and High. The animation itself is extremely clear and I didn't remember any other even close to it!! Thank you! I guess will be using it from time to time or show it when I'm on zoom\skype ;) ))
No, I haven't but the feeling must be same as cherry reds. The difference is only the actuation point. If your keyboard supports 'hot-swap pcb', you don't need to do desoldering at all. The keyboard in this video is hot-swappable. By the way, your profile pic is IU! Are you Korean or just set it? lol
ive been looking to buy this keyboard but on massdrop theres a substantial amount of people that are having issues with double or even triple clicking on this keyboard, sometimes even after only just a few weeks of barely any usage...
Sai It’s quiet so I increased the volume. You may hear the emphasized background noise as well. And due to the inner design of Ctrl keyboard, the sound is not that solid. Aliaz switches are clearly louder than Cherry silent reds in my experience. Before you buy them, you may need to check more comparison and typing videos of the Aliaz. Good luck to your choice! :)

Chen Wang No problem at all. Bro! My English is worse than yours. haha Actually they just arrived today!! However they came with Space65(custom keyboard) at the same time. I am building it first and very slowly so it will take a little bit long time until I lube and type the holy pandas. Sorry for that. About the stock holy padas, they are really bad for my fingers. Some say the stock pandas are okay.. but not for me. They must be lubed before using. Their tactility was good as people say. As I am a linear lover, I am still not sure these are good or not for me. One thing for sure is that they are fun to type.

It's all up to you I just don't want to use any keyboards without lubing including stabs. This board is really hollow so I would put some foam. I already sold this anyway.

@@3ildcat the funny thing is the halo switches dont hit the gmk caps thank god. probly .2mm clearance lol but cant say that about cherry or gaterons.. i should contact them about gesc or a custom code option for the configurator tho. good idea.

For background, I use ‘wallpaper engine’ on Steam. It’s one of my favorite programs for a great variety of wallpapers! I just used the windows basic note app. Thanks bro : )
@@3ildcat Thanks for the reply! I use 78g Zilents on my low profile CTRL and I love them. I made some lubed Holy Pandas and tried them on my CTRL. However, I've found that the switch slots are ever so slightly too small for YOK housings- just enough that pulling them out causes some of the switches to bind around the LED channel.

Hi. Check at 0:49 If it's too fast, you can slow it down using this -> [Shift + > to increase the speed and shift + < to decrease the speed] And just applied the bandaid on the pcb at 1:30
