Great job. I honestly thought I'd just see you attached some store-bought bellows. I'm even more impressed because of your creation of the bellows. I doubt I'd create one of these, but I know somebody who might build it if I asked. Awesome.
Dear Sir, Not only is it a highly original project seldom seen but exceedingly well built & executed with great care & finesse, a furniture like finish to complement it. You must also have a very sound knowledge of photography in general from building principles to chemistry required to develop pictures. Very well done. Kind regards.
Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your courteous & hearted reply. I think your skill & knowledge did indeed betray a wealth of experience in photography & it's film developing techniques. Kind regards.
That became a beautiful camera. Regarding the effort, it's been well worth it! I would like to add though, that the video was just as well made: we can see all the work involved, follow all the important steps and still have it all seen in less than 15 minutes. Thanks!
Wow great job mate! Wish I have those skills as I am shooting with old cameras and uploading videos on my RUclips channel dedicated to film photography!
I am asking you for a full version of the film from the construction of this camera. Alternatively, if this is not possible, I would like to ask you with a cordial request to publish plans for the construction of such a device on your website.
Have seen the earlier version of this video (slow one) and this is really amazing, what a talent and craftsmanship, inspiring i would say. And the final photograph really is of impressive quality. Makes me wonder, would it be able to attach a lens mount in the front, (such as an lens adapter) and then make happen to use different lenses? And how would that work in relation to size of the 'film' / 'plate'? All in all great work, and nice video, thank you!
@@DieterSchneider Nice! What kind of material did you use for inside and outside of bellows? I am having a difficult time finding someone making a bellows for me so I'm going to make it myself.
As a life long photographer (50+ yrs) I am very impressed. Nicely done!

Hallo Dieter. Baust du noch diese wunderschönen Kameras?
Hey. I know this is an old video, but by any chance do you have like some sort of a manual how to do this? Schematics or something?
What kind of material is that black panel 6:17? I'm gonna make my own mini camera for salt print photography soon.
Great video! Where can I find a lens like that? I see a lot of old photo enlargers around, would that be a similar lens, do you think?
Thanks. Usually Ebay and Etsy
Isn't these the cameras they used in the late 19th and early 20th century?
