QFS Aviation - Hahaha 😂. At least it’s not horrible, the Cessna Grand Caravan is much worse, Trust me. I would pick a twin otter over the caravan any day! Haha
QFS Aviation I live in Tampa. I went from Tampa- Seattle layover of ten hours then Seattle- Anchorage- Unalaska (Dutch Harbor) It took 24 hours from Tampa. We chartered a fishing boat for 3 days.
this Q re-view is sponsored by "no flash photography" . I have watched this multiple times, one of my favorites. great photography and that landing is spectacular. well done Quebec Foxtrot Sierra, thanks for sharing!!
really a cool ride....DHC has interesting overhead controls...our ship docked there...beautiful views.... highlight is the OMG landing at SBH...thanks for sharing this Q :)
I did this flight in 2005 on Winair with a Dash 6 over and a Bitiien Norman Islande (like a station Wagon) back. I still have the Safety Cards for both Fixed Gear aircraft.
Q, you should do a trip report with Harbour Air in Vancouver. It’s a scheduled sea plane service out of Victoria harbor with great views of downtown Vancouver on takeoff and landing. I did it over summer and it was a thrill. I have a video on my phone if you want to take a look
I flew on this aircraft before cz im from the Caribbean and my experience was awful it stung my air so badly that even adults were crying for there ears but overall it was a good otherwise than that and awesome video you should do Caribbean trip reports more often.
Couldn’t fly on a small aircraft like that, if I go to st martins which I’m planning to, I’m probably gonna fly to Amsterdam and then fly with KLM to st martins
Wow that approach left me speechless, great job by the captain
Yea you are definitely right, That is a very nightmarish steep approach I can’t believe that at all!
“legroom is poor” omfg. WTFH DID YOU EXPECT? IT’S A FREAKING TWIN OTTER.
I have to at least acknowledge it 😂
QFS Aviation - Hahaha 😂. At least it’s not horrible, the Cessna Grand Caravan is much worse, Trust me. I would pick a twin otter over the caravan any day! Haha
Also, it looks like a DHC-6-200 or -300, the DHC-6-400’s are much smoother, a little quieter and the legroom is about an inch better I find.
Kansas City Southern Fan was about to comment the same
It's like getting on a city bus and remarking that there is not a 'stewardess on board to serve tea and scones' ROFL
Thanks QFS !!!
Twin Otter is an amazing aircraft. No others aircraft have the same specs as the Twin. All that with 19 pax.
I agree! A true powerful aircraft
You‘re officially a god to me now!!! I went there 20 years ago, started my journey @ guadeloupe back then.✈️✈️✈️⛱⛱🏖🏖🤙🤙🤙
Awesome trip report. Q You rock!
great landing!! I had a very similar landing on Pen Air at Dutch Harbor on a Saab 340.
Wow that must’ve been a long flight! I know that’s over 1,000 miles from Anchorage
QFS Aviation I live in Tampa. I went from Tampa- Seattle layover of ten hours then Seattle- Anchorage- Unalaska (Dutch Harbor) It took 24 hours from Tampa. We chartered a fishing boat for 3 days.
Wow that sounds amazing! That’s a long commute
QFS Aviation yeah very long! But it was all 737-900 almost the whole round-trip. I think we took one 737-400 then the Saab 340 twice

Looove St Barths. The landing is the best part of the flight!. One of the chillest islands in the Caribbean in my opinion.
Amazing video! :-)

Always wanted to see a good report to St Barts on one of these, great video

Great video, loved the PiP this time, and also thought an unusual plane.....more paying attention to the throttles on the roof.

I’ve actually heard of them and I really want to try them and the other helicopter company, I believe their name is HeliJet. Yeah I’d love to see it!
Can you go to Costa Rica with Alaska Airlines from LAX
I flew on this aircraft before cz im from the Caribbean and my experience was awful it stung my air so badly that even adults were crying for there ears but overall it was a good otherwise than that and awesome video you should do Caribbean trip reports more often.

"infamous" maho beach? why's that?
Only your laundress knows for sure how much one enjoys landing in St. Barth’s 😂. It’s not for the faint of heart. 😁

I’ve went from Saint Martin to Saint barts but I took a ferry

Ha! I can only imagine what my captain would say if I tried a landing like that in the Q.
Ive taken that flight many times. I think you rated Winair too high!
wow u landed at 2 of the worlds most scariest airports
Those windows need some windex
At least the seat is padded.
3:26 похож на боинг Абрамовича.
