TRIP REPORT | NetJets - Cessna Citation Latitude - Westhampton Beach (FOK) to St. Maarten (SXM)

On Christmas Day, I flew on a private jet down to the Caribbean island of St. Maarten on a NetJet's Cessna Citation Latitude. NetJets is a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary that sells part ownership or shares of private business jets. NetJets was founded in 1964 as Executive Jet Aviation and was the first private business jet charter and aircraft management company in the world. They are also the largest with 700 aircraft in its fleet.

A few months ago I got a chance to fly one of Jetblues retrofitted a320s (32M) I feel like you would love the new interior. It would make a great video. JetBlue is a good airline. I also love when you fly private!! Keep up the great work, your trip reports always amaze me.

I never heard of airport in Long Island. I thought you are at MacArthur Airport. But the airport is very small for private charters.
I know people on Island waved at you. St. Maarten is one of worse airports in the world. Almost every aircrafts hit people and/or fences.
That’s way off! But people love to hear engines to blow away before it was departures.
You pick the food without flight attendants. You see cockpit with 2 pilots. I think it’s greatest view in cockpit!!

“Boards” (speed brakes) were still deployed during parking. Looks like NetJets isn’t running all their checklists... (after landing). The G5000 will nark on them. Sends trip data to the DOM after every flight.
Will we see the flight to St. Barts soon?
