Mike Zunkowski is a member of our Golden Triangle Woodturners club and walks us through how he lays out the design of the rings of a segmented bowl and determines the dimensions for each segment of the rings.
In the other two arts of this series...
Mike walks through how he cuts the segments and glues them up into rings
Doug Busey shows us how he creates a feature ring and incorporates it into a segmented bowl
This was recorded at the monthly meeting of the Golden Triangle Woodturners club in Denton Texas. We meet the first Monday of each month in The Center for the Visual Arts located at the corner of Hickory and Belle Streets in Denton, Texas. meetings start at 7 PM and all are welcome to attend.

Denton has some of the best videos on RUclips! Thanks for sharing.
❤
I have watched, and enjoyed, a number of Denton Turners videos and find that they all suffer one major flaw - namely, the questions/discussion from the floor is impossible to understand as we only get the demonstrator's answer, without knowing what the question was. It would make the videos more useful if the demonstrator repeated the question before making a response.
I was watching the zentangle video and still have no idea why the demonstrator was pausing for so long between each sentence.
I totally agree with Philip Hamilton comment. It’s a hit and Miss video with your demonstrated presentation difficult to follow. Sorry I can’t give you a thumbs up.
