Switch Axe F is defie a highlight of Frontier for me, especially since I didn't use it while servers were live. Idk about doing a skill guide because people way smarter than me have already mathed out the optimal sets for every, but I could look at doing a compilation of those builds in the future maybe
@@reinverseVT Frontier on vita is crossplay with PC. I think one thing you'll have to expect and get used to would be performance. You will experience a LOT of framerate dips especially with Frontier's crazier monsters and effects/particles. That said, it's still incredibly convenient to be able to play wherever, plus the Vita itself is an amazing handheld with a great library, not even just for monster hunter. Imo if you're planning to get one, I recommend it. I haven't been able to put down my vita since getting it. If you're getting a handheld solely for Frontier tho, I suggest something more powerful like a Steamdeck. Of course it's a lot more expensive but you won't get any performance issues on the deck. Just my two cents.
@@sylentnoise932 I've been wanting to play Soul Sacrifice Delta again so it's not like I have no reason to get a Vita, although a Steam Deck might also be a good choice 🤔
A note: The first MS you unlock after doing the questline does not need Z mats. When will you release your g rank guide? Im already at endgame but I would still watch it :)
Having a blast in fronteir overall, but there's some things i really dislike about it as it is. One thing is the earlygame is completely irrelevant, and farming/crafting armor even at higher ranks feels kinda meaningless. The other thing i dislike is how incredibly strong people can get in this version of the game, if im lucky enough i can get someone help me with a tough quest where i would either spend 20-30 minutes soloing, or i straight up just can't do it, but someone with endgame gear could just join me and kill the monster in like literally a minute with no effort. Makes hunting challenging monsters feel less rewarding overall, when someone could just 1shot it for me. I've played on the original frontier WAAY back when the endgame was the SR system i think, it wasn't perfect by any means, but you couldn't just go and 1shot monsters a few tiers below you, even if you got help from someone geared the fight was still enjoyable and fairly challenging. Also it felt natural as you progressed in your HR ranks, you would always look which cool weapon or armor could you craft on your way as you grind. BUT! again, frontier ZZ overall is really cool, the monsters are amazing, the movesets for some weapons look really really fun (eventhough it really seems like endgame you just have to play magnet spike because it's just so much stronger than anything else) Sorry for the long comment, i just thought i would share some of my frustrations, im sure some people can relate, but i still do love the game!
I definitely feel you on that, the state Frontier was left in basically encourages you to get to endgame as quickly as humanly possible and that can definitely make it hard to fully enjoy everything the game has to offer. But the challenge you want is definitely there once you hit Zeniths. There are people who can absolutely style on them but that's all skill and getting to that level is half the fun imo!

Frontier has been amazing. I play on pc and when I get tired I can hop in bed, boot up my PS Vita and keep playing frontier.
Honestly I've been tempted to pick up a Vita for Frontier for a while to try and get my non PC friends into Frontier
