Well.....just got to the landing bit. What can I say....I just knew it was going to happen....you can tell by having been there not able to fly 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dude, you done everything right. Logical thinking, caught out by the wind (had the very same thing happen a couple of weeks later but recognised it because of you) perfectly executed safe landing. That is all that matters. Well done buddy 👍 You could have been that "I dont wanna land at the bottom" pilot that used the fence 🤦♂️🤣
Thank you for watching , 🙏i am glad that all ended well in my video 🤞 is nice to share this experience as many people are afraid to show their stories with mistakes. So we can learn from each other 🙏
You should try a Motor my friend, squeeze throttle and back up you go. 😁😘 No really, that was unlucky. As I was watching this it dawned on me, with such a lack of mobility it really is ALL or nothing. Everywhere is plan B when we are solo.
🤣 engines can quit on you as well as this english weather 😜 it is lot of responsibility and watching for conditions. I can drop on Solo anywhere i like , but with tandem is co restricted 👌
We are lucky here in UK. You do not need to pay for your rescue here as coast guard is government founded and air ambulance is charities founded. So it was free ride for us 🙏
@@PeterHoldy It goes further than that! Even if you wanted to give the coast-guard a thank-you or donation, you couldn't because being government, it could be deemed to be bribery (you might be OK sending them a box of biscuits). But since air ambulance is charity, they always welcome donations.
Very nice video! Good job everyone.
Excellent video and very good decision making by a top pilot, well done 👍🏻
Thank you Tim 🙏 i did what i was train for. I was really lucky 👌 take care 😉

Good that everyone is fine! Out of curiosity do you have to pay any amount of money for the rescue? How it works out.

@@PeterHoldy Thanks for the answer. An example for every country how the SAR should work!
@@mountainblack yes rescue and health care should be free everywhere ! 🙏

Doing such a good deed yet got caught out with some bad luck! I hope the rescue was free…
Yes, luckily rescue was free ! Or better to say that it was payed from our taxes 😉
@@PeterHoldy awesome good to hear! Great video!
Ahoj Peter, no kde si toľko bol?😁
Strateny v tomto sialenom svete 🤣 ale uz som nasiel cestu pat 👌
Hmm no plan B, only landing is plan A ,..
And you have a client with no or limited walking ability
Is good to have few back up plans , as future is not predictable 😉
