    I like the way you test a wing for the first time, big wing overs and stalls close to the ground. It's like you don't know what fear is, ah ah. Anyway very nice flight and beautifull pictures. Hope to see more XC with this wing ;)

    great video!!!! I am going to upgrade to a C Wing and considering The Cure2??? how do you feel the wing? Is real easy C glider with no stress like BGD says??? thanks!!!!

    • @PeterHoldy
      @PeterHoldy  Год назад +1

      Cure 2 is pretty good glider, fast with good glide and solid feeling.
      If you are confident pilot and you are happy to fly any conditions then cure2 will be very good glider in your hands.
      But if you are just jumping from A or low B glider then it will bite you ! 😉

    Brilliant video pete.
    Funnily enough my base, 4yo glider high B, has the double skin leading edge and it really solid wing on and off bar. Nice to see BGD back on it and using it in the new Cure2. The base also has double leading edge cells making it very solid on bar.
    Saving as we speak for my own Cure2. "She will be mine, oh yes, she will be mine"

      @@PeterHoldy The BGD website for the CURE 2 shows double skin on the leading edge. Your video shows NOT doubleskin on leading edge, but on the underside. Did you learn why your wing is different from the website? Thank you.

    • @PeterHoldy
      @PeterHoldy  4 года назад

      @@mrtoddcrowley that is double skin as you saw it in my video. Is just small skin in the leading edge. Is not double skin like you think it was . Every Cure 2 is made like this. It was same technology done for BGD-Base

    • @mrtoddcrowley
      @mrtoddcrowley 4 года назад

      @@PeterHoldy At 3:55, you tried to show the doubleskin on the top edge. Was not there. You showed double skin on the underside. To compare, see BGD website: www.flybgd.com/en/paragliders/cure-2--paraglider-2021-1333-0.html What am I seeing wrong? Thanks!

    • @PeterHoldy
      @PeterHoldy  4 года назад

      @@mrtoddcrowley their pictures is just badly taken, they even saying on website that is folded skin on bottom leading eadge. Picture they took , cure 2 is hanging from air down something like balkony, so you can not see trailing edge and he holds bottom of opening cell. It is looks like he hold top one but he holds bottom one 😉 hope it make sense 😝

    Amazing review Peter! I liked that it was long and comprehensive enough. very informative that way.
    Very intresting to see if BGD has something to say about the C\B steering seemingly not effective (or maybe its just in this specific case), cause it shouldnt be this way..
    BTW- THE EPIC IS A MID B (:

    • @PeterHoldy
      @PeterHoldy  4 года назад +1

      Yes i realised that evening that Epic is mid B 🤣. C-B steering hmm i think that is just keeping C with B just for efficient steering for less drag as C will pull B with it. not for easy light steering,they just should say effective steering 👌

  • @andresbahnsen1440
    @andresbahnsen1440 4 года назад

    Hey Peter, I´ve had cure 2 since January. The problem you mentioned about the b/c steering system happens because you are holding the c's wrong. Your index finger needs to hang from the c handle and your middle finger needs to hang on the other side of the c band and hang from the band that conects the c´s and b´s.

    • @PeterHoldy
      @PeterHoldy  4 года назад

      Sounds about right 👍 But wight shifting and plaing with C are really effective 😉 Thank for your experience with C -B steering hope guys will read and learn 🙏 Thank you Andres

    • @leonardparapente9807
      @leonardparapente9807 4 года назад

      @@PeterHoldy Yep I wanted to also say that. You need to use the handle at it's lowest point for effective B/C steering. You can also put one finger in handle and one over the connection (on the other side of riser, dunno if clear).
      Have good flights !

      Absolutely yes, it is more smooth, stable and solid feeling wing. My cure is more biting in thermals and Cure 2 is more relaxed easier going wing in roughs thermals. I ❤ cure 2 and i want one 😉

    Just another point to the B/C riser control.
    Speed bar : don't push it all in one shot. the acceleration is great and might create a frontal collapse. (It is specified in the manual). Maybe not in calm air...
    But anyway pushing too fast will create pendulum effect. Better to push half, and push 2nd half at the end of the first pendulum acceleration to avoid surge.

    • @PeterHoldy
      @PeterHoldy  4 года назад

      Absolutely you are right ! But i love jumping fully on Bar. Lots of fun. Just you need watch out for nasty rotory air and you should be fine.

    27:24 Grab C risers on the height of the magnets with your "pointing finger" in place where your middle finger is at the moment. I think that this C-B bridge will work but it needs to be pulled more directly. It is quite strange that they've made C-B bridge and that kind of C-handles that doesn't work when you pull them. I think that reality is that they've made C-B bridge in the last months of design process just before the release - just for marketing purposes to compete with Flow Fusion and UP Gliders which has risers made for that kind of steering.
    Just try to grab these C's closer to the C-B bridge and let us know how they perform. Cheers!
