- Macon Junction is an excellent place for railfanning and typically very busy in the morning and evening hours. We watch 10 Norfolk Southern trains coming out and going into Brosnan Yard in Macon, GA in the summer evening hours of July 3rd, 2017.
Note: This video has been recorded and produced in 4k Ultra-HD resolution.

Excellent video. Nice shots and close ups.
Thank you.
Thanks for your answer and thanks again for all your work
+Joe Leveille You're welcome!
Good video, as usual. Thanks for note a week ago. Irma was my FOURTH hurricane. No home damage except 1 tree that fell in street. Chainsawed it 2 days ago. Got power back friday night. 6 days no juice but we had a gen. Still bad because it is hot as hell down here. It could have been MUCH worse.
Well I'm glad you were not as much troubled by the hurricane than many Floridians. Even here up in GA we felt the power of it as it literally made us powerless as well for several days. Crazy, that you have already suffered through four hurricanes...
Great video, nice catch of the high hood loco.great horn salute of the first train!
Thanks a lot.
I'm always waiting for. Your new videos love them. Keep them coming.
Thank you, glad you like them!
Thanks, love these slow yard moves. Interesting power with that GP38-2. -- Unrelated, I hope you'll be safe with that hurricane heading your way!
I could watch these moves forever. Well, thank you very much. Tomorrow we'll know what the remains of it will do to Georgia. We're already in state of emergency.
Another great video. Quite a variety of cars on the rock train.
Thank you. That's exactly what I thought when I saw that train. Sections of this local train are attached to other trains in the yard and it probably depends on the unloading facilities at the destinations of those trains, which type of car they can operate.
sweet catches. awesome power and lashup's. awesome catch of the EX-SD90MAC #7293. sweet NS, UP, & BNSF nice.
Thanks, Phillip. That's why I like Macon. There's always something interesting to watch and many nice spots.
Nice catch of the High Hood. Thank u.
I know, this was special. Thank you for watching!
Mbmars you back on the ns atlanta south district. You truely are a railfan. You every where keep making these awesome videos.Be safe.
+Kelly James Thank you! The nice thing about the area south of Atlanta is that it is less populated and railfanning is much more enjoyable.
Great video. All of those trains are interesting
Thanks!
You do a damn fine job sir! Keep up the good work!
+Nick Taghon Thank you, appreciated. If power wasn't out thanks to Irma, I could have finished a new video today 😡
www.run8studios.com/index.shtml Don't just foam!
+Nick Taghon Some years ago I played Trainz, which was fun, but then I decided to build a real model railroad layout.
I picked up Trainz '06 I think. R8 is the only sim that has done U.S. freight right.
You would appreciate its authenticity.
I love your videos and good catch
I'm glad you do! Thanks, keep watching.
friendly engineer on the rock train, liked the way he worked the horn. maybe he is a budding musician.
Lol, maybe :)
Great video!
Thanks.
Great video bro. I enjoyed it a lot.
+Boris Obrucicov That's awesome, thanks!

hay man its September NOT July
Wow, you discovered a thing called "calendar"? No offense, just joking :D
that was a stupid joke beacous it is September not July
What beacon are you talking about?
I Like Trains 😊
each of the SD60's had a different horn :)
Cool video. I'm in Columbus. Last night I caught one leaving the NS yard and I chased it all the way through Upatoi. That line goes to Macon. Is that junction pretty busy there? Nice video by the way.
Once I read what you put in the description, it is a busy area. I've definitely gotta come check it out.
The junction is a good place to watch trains.
I started your video at breakfast will finish at lunch time. I love this video the 4k is really great. I love the sounds of the engines the horns were quit. I wanted to ask which is your favorite place to rail fan Georgia or Arizona? I really appreciate your work mbmars01 I always look forward to watching
+Joe Leveille I also think that 4k looks much better. I like to railfan nice spots with great action. I found these places in Georgia, Arizona, and other states and have no actual favorite.
I love the video tho ;)
I'm happy you do!
Nice job where was that video taken
+Train lover 101 Thanks! Maybe in Macon, GA? ;)
Great video. Noticed how clean the NS engines are compared to CSX. CSX is starting to look very trashy.
+Suzanne Wilde Thanks. We're all concerned as to what's happening to CSX.
Hello mbmars01 are you prepared for this hurricane
I hope so. It probably won't be a hurricane anymore when it arrives in Georgia, but winds and rain will still be strong. We'll see.
Hey how many trains are being moved out of Florida?
Jac Jac I think they won't cos they are so heavy but maybe they will get so locomotives to take out the cars
trains are short now?
Well, not all... Mostly the locals.
Definitely not here in Macon..Takes up to 20 mins. For some Cargo to go by
DeMaun Stanford yea true
What’s the name of the first part of your intro please respond
I don't remember all snippets I used for the intro. They are all from RUclips's Free Audio Library.
mbmars01 do you know the song tho?
Well the main theme is called "Invisible" by Vibe Tracks (also on RUclips's library), but I mixed in other sounds and I don't remember the names of these.
mbmars01 ok I do like that invisible could I download it on iTunes?
Google for the RUclips Audio Library and there you can download it for free. I don't think it's on iTunes.
Yay first comment
Lol, congrats :)
