The hunt is real! I spend hours and hours each week, combing through thrift stores, estate sales, auctions & flea markets ... to bring home the goods and prepare them for selling in my Ebay store, which fully supports me.

What did I just witness !!! The cleanest most organized basement of my life that I have ever seen,I'm so blown away,speechless, and she is so Humble,perfection of a human being.

We like watching you pull inventory cause your basement is soooo incredibely organized and it is inspirational and cool to see whats selling, Some of this stuff I dont see you thrift so its like a second thrift, for me at least 😃
I think it is so good that someone values a thrifted item to be given as a gift, and received by someone who will love it also. So glad you were happy to enclose a greeting to her Mom.
With all white - you won't have any visual interest, your eye needs a place to rest. I definitely like your idea of trimming out windows and casing in gray (or any color). Paint the casing around the glass front door any color but white. When you replace your siding you could do a do a dark matte gray siding. You could also design an architectural "eave" over the front entrance. Will keep your packages and guests dry. You know about visual interest when you shop at Goodwill and you dress amazing. A house needs a belt, and some jewelry and a sweater OR think my house needs eyeliner, mascara and lipstick.
Since you announced your engagement with Roger, your following has increased 1000%. I'm so happy for both of you. Both hard workers very hard workers, you deserve everything God has for you.
Those Goodwill prices are outrageous. I know a lot of people that won't even source from there anymore.
I’ve been painting my resale furniture with Sherman Williams alabaster; love it! My home is bright white with green roof and shutters and I painted my front door a deep coral pink. Strangers tell me it’s the prettiest house they ever saw.

Karen, as long as I have been listening and that's from day 1, I have never heard you so chatty!! I was giggling the entire time while you did your thing. Edit- “They must be on drugs”- you have no idea how many times I’ve said that while shopping at a Goodwill. (I actually no longer shop there because the employees at my local stores are full blown addicts now if you are comparing their pricing to their drug use, lol) P.S-of course I am just kidding, but I do really wonder what they are thinking when they price a Dollar Tree item at $6.99! xo

My Mom and I went Thrifting today- at a local Mission Thrift Store and down the road is Goodwill. Both stores were half off today! I felt so much like you today, my cart was full’ only paid about $49.00 I should be able to triple my money with my stuff. I have 3 Vendor Booths. Thank you for your inspiration!

I had that portable AC and it did not work that well at all. A lot of work with wetting the filter and freezing it and keeping it filled with water. My little fan on my nightstand put out more air. That’s probably why all those ended up at GW!😂
We bought two of these online at the height of the summer heat under a different brand name: "ChillWell"--sadly, it didn't...!😖
I think Arctic Air is the same thing in a different package. The units look identical. Unfortunately, these so-called mini air coolers do not provide the cooling comfort they advertise. You will be seriously disappointed if you believe their hype!
However, they can make dandy little personal fans because of the adjustable louvers and the four fan speeds you get. That's what we use ours for now--and a ruddy bargain for $2.99 at Goodwill! (But NOT at the $89 price WE paid...😑...can you say "sucker"?)

There is a house near us that has a limestone exterior and a few years back they painted it a dark gray with black trim. It is beautiful. They also rebuilt the small covered porch with cedar color stain and new railings. That house really looks sharp. Love your basement organization!! I used to have my own painting business for about 12 years and worked at Sherwin Williams for 3 years. I always tell people that for me it is anything but white. When we built our house in 2016 and they asked my opinion about a color for the garage interior I said anything but white so it is painted a pale creamy yellow.

Maybe you could find some metal wall hangings. You could hang them on each side of window in the front that has the larger blank space. It would be the jewelry for the house and would be something different than the usual shutters.

Great job with improvements on your home! You could shutter the window that would fit shutters, and do a window box in the same color on your dining room window to add depth.
Unfortunately, a window box would impede the walk to the front door especially with all of the inventory coming and going

2nd comment- I love how you price your items so reasonably. I see so many resellers asking at least $18.99 (some even $22 or more) for their mugs plus $15-$18 shipping, regardless of the quality or desirability of the mug. I always wonder who pays over $35-$40 all in for a mug?!? Also, so many other items listed with unreasonable inflated prices. You are very fair & I appreciate that! xo
I think a different color for the siding at each end would look good. Perhaps the same color as door and trim around windows. Shutters on the middle window and window boxes under the other front windows?

I agree diversify be open to selling anything that is legal and gets you good profit .. Even businesses diversify . Stock holders diversify their portfolio. Do not put all your eggs in one basket. Gas is too expensive to travel all that way and leave with nothing to resell to at least cover the cost of your gas if not your time . I use to watch this one YT resellers and she would scream find your niche ... umm yeah that is would be a NO I would leave with nothing wasting my time and gas ... not like you are going to find vintage glass every time you go out and not all of that glass is worth a lot plus packing materials is expensive

Do you ever get lucky at Walmart when they have $1.00 clearance ? All the book bags were $1.00 All the $50.00 work boots,shoes,eye glasses,jeans,bras,purses,face cream,vitamins etc. everything $1.00 ,people go crazy,it's such fun,we bought a lot of shoes for the homeless ministry.

I appreciate your eclectic approach in buying items of multiple genres. I watch several resellers but almost everyone has a personal "niche" and declining what appears to be (to me) good items for resale.
Your comments about the bazillion shades of white paint made me laugh. Way too many choices for my brain so went with colour have been using for 30 years - Navajo White. You always look so well ‘turned out’ and look as though you would smell nice!!

I wish I had your energy, we bought a Log Cabin on 7 acres when we retired, I never wanted to paint again, but lol we have to protect the wood with a water resistant stain. I absolutely love the yard. I'm a yard girl and you are a piece of property is dynamite. The house looks good. That fake Stone can be a real problem especially if you do power washing a lot and it can really chip away so good that you covered it and I'm sure the end product is going to look fabulous you've done so much and it is really an adorable home. Arctic Air Chillers: Bought 2 of them for this past Summer, when it got hot. They worked well. Got them new off eBay (who had the best price) and paid about $80 shipped for them. If you have the room to hold them, until next summer, they'd likely be a good profit margin.

I was in our Red Racks and Goodwill today, and kept looking for things like you find. I did get some lovely white baking dishes. They were so heavy, and I thought "Karen, would not ship this!" Good thing I bought them for me. I got a great deal!
I didnt realize until this video that your exterior brick looks identical to the fireplace brick indoors. I think your house/ the brick, would look great in the cream color - the lightest color of the original brick color and the darker color of the original brick used on the siding.
The bedroom vanity looks terrific! LOL at the beginning of this vid. I hate painting but am good at it too! I think you just need to take your time. Cheers!

You mentioned shutters, I think shutters would look good , even if you only put 1 set on the offset in front. That would add dimension.
