Getting Google Chrome installed on your Mac, iMac, Macbook Air, or Macbook Pro is free and very easy. Follow the steps below to download Google Chrome.
How to install chrome on Mac:
1. Go to www.google.com/chrome/ and select "Download Chrome". Then select Accept and Install.
2. Save the Google Chrome installation file to your Mac, iMac, Macbook Air, or Macbook Pro.
3. Once the Google Chrome download has completed, Open the downloaded Google Chrome install file.
4. Once the install screen appears, drag the Chrome icon into the MacOS Application folder.
5. You have now installed Google Chrome on your iMac, Macbook Air, or Macbook Pro.

For those wondering how to remove disk icon. After copying chrome to apps eject/delete chrome disk on desk top. Google Chrome after being copied into apps as shown in video will be in apps/launchpad and that is the one you use not the first one that appears on desktop. Took me about an hour to figure it out myself lol... Hope this helps and makes sense
