Hey Brian I wanted to say thank you. My husband Josh recently returned from being deployed. We’re Florida natives so fishing is his number one hobby. Your channel gave him something to focus on being apart from his family for months. Your channel is fun and educational but more than that. You’re giving a healthy outlet for service members who go somewhere to serve and can’t fish. Or do many of their favorite hobbies tbh. So a heartfelt thank you from our family for keeping my husbands mind healthy with stress breaks in your content. God bless your family.
Hey Brian,Great video,i keep coming back watching these videos 3 or 4 times.I've learned more and understood more by watching your videos! They have really helped alot! Thanks!
I have been fishing for a little while and I have to say from all the people on RUclips that have fishing videos yours are always the most helpful man. I watch every one you put out I drive a truck for a living and watching these videos are what I do on my down time and I take notes. Thanks man for all the tips god bless you man.
One of the best informational videos on this topic. I live on a big natural lake that is no deeper than 20 feet but has a lot of offshore humps. This gives me several ideas on how to look for different types of structure. Thanks
Great great video! I definitely appreciated ur attention to detail in explaining the little things! Also I'll definitely want to see the continuation of this where u select the rod and make cast explaining why ur doing whatever it is u decided AND ur thoughts on what to do NEXT if the current tactics isn't working!!! That's a complete puzzle in my mind that is PRICELESS!!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR SHARING!
Great video. I’ve been waiting for a video like this especially with garmin graphs because that’s what I have on my boat. Definitely will help me when the lakes open back up
Nice video... Hope you got part 2 in the works... This is the part of fishing I'm trying to figure out now... I have the hardest times locating my piles with my casts
Great video BLAt , finding brush piles are a key cover an most want ride around an find cover like however it takes seat time like you are doing to find great stuff an decipher an compare what it is great clip.
Brian man that was a great video I never really understand how to read my fish finder you sharing this video help me understand it more please keep these Learning videos coming I wished you could come to Valdosta Georgia and do a class
Thanks for the video. I’ve been trying to decide on which brand of graphs to put on my boat. I’ve been leaning towards the Garmin Echomap UHD 93sv (lots of features for the price). I think this will help me make up my mind. Hopefully I’ll be adding the Force in a couple years. Keep the videos coming when you can.
That’s Awesome. I’m definitely leaning towards that one. I’m going to buy it next month. My boat is a pontoon Fishin Barge. My wife and I felt more comfortable with the fence for the little ones. I’m slowly getting it geared up while our lakes are closed. I want it ready to go once we all get passed this.
Graphs can cut even the weekend worriers time down when locating fish. It maybe more important for the weekend angler because we don't get that much time on the water.
Brian, just found your channel. I recently installed a Garmin Striker S7. When using the down image I move very slow and see brush piles under me. I throw a marker directly beside my transducer but when I fish I never hit brush, even with treble hooks. How far behind the boat am I seeing the brush pile? Danny Jaynes
Hey Brian, quick question about garmin. I just purchased a 7inch striker and I went out the other day and the graph would read the bottom great for 1-2 min then lose the bottom which would cause the depth to be lost and start to blink. What causes this and how can you fix it?
Just sitting down to watch this video, but had a question for you first. My 5 year old is starting to really enjoy fishing, any suggestions on a starter spinning combo for him?
Hey Brian, awesome video very informative. I noticed you are running 2 transducers, gt8 for 2d and gt34 for your 3d imaging...do you know which garmin y cable you are using? Having trouble finding the one I need. Keep the videos coming and stay safe!
BUCKSLAYER Don’t know if Brian would agree but I use to have a 16’ aluminum boat with a garmin striker SV plus. Used it to win a local bass club against much larger boats. It’s inexpensive and easy to use.
BUCKSLAYER This is where you need to be carful. I bought a motor guide 54lb thrust. It was fine for ponds and reseviour s but rivers with current I struggled with. However my 16 foot boat was built up and weighted a lot. A 54lb thrust may be fine for a lighter 14ft boat. You can get that graph and trolling motor for under a $1000. It may seem like a lot but both those are quality items and in the long run you will not be sorry you spent the money.

We all need to leave the boats at home for a while man. If I make 2 stops on the way to lake. It’s not social distancing. I’ve parked mine

Man these videos keep me entertained lol but man graphs are expensive just bought a boat and I'm dreading spending the money on graphs
very good stuff.👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the info BLAT. I have the Garmin 94sv. What frequency do you set the sonar to for 30 ft or less for finding brushpiles?
Great vid very helpful👍

Great job 👍👍Brian!!!!!!!
Have you got on the water since the governor closed the ramps? Using private owned pay ramps still ok? I’m in N.C. but usually fish sc on the weekends
👍👍 excellent video

Brian, now that you have Garmin graphs, are you also considering running the Force trolling motor? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I actually don’t this time. Bucks island did my rigging and if you talk to Justin Eliot when you call he can tell you what it was
Will do, thank you!
You should have been a teacher you explain things so people can clearly understand thanks
Really good video. Maybe a little closer close up to the graph.
Man! We need Panoptics! Or maybe We’ll just take yours...🤣😂🤣
That cracks me up evey time I watch that
Thanks for the tips. Which graph would you recommend for a 14' aluminum boat for a guy fishing smaller water and budget conscious?

I have 93sv s on mine.
Thanks for the suggestions. Also in the market for a used trolling motor. What lb thrust do / did yall run? I should go back and re watch blats video

Stay safe everyone. Here in Washington State, we aren't allowed to fish alone in a boat. Instead I' home going crazy.
1964krazyeric why??
Our governor said we can't until quarantine is over. I've heard it is a $500 fine if caught.
WOW
Side imaging is a joke to me
