Fantastic! I’m wanting to have an old VDubbie like this. I, years back, had a ‘71 Super Beetle, flat windshield, steel sunroof, pop out rear windows, worked the 1600 dual port to a 1776 cc’s, Dual DeLorto carbs with Porcha style linkage. I’m wanting to get one built again but I’d like to have a roll cage installed and a kick ass lift like yours to be able to take it off road. I’m a retired Philadelphia Police Officer and I’ll be 70 this coming October. With what’s going on in our country, a worked VDubbie with a compartment in the rear passenger area for an AR-15, first aid kit and other survival equipment would be genius.
Love the work, that break came out sick.. Just a tip on the paint part, rustoleum sells a black called rust reformer. That way you can spray that first, then satin right over it. It catalyzes any rust you might not have got off.. keep up the good work guys..!
Hello. Good job! One question: Does it have the standard trans? Or a vwbus trans...?. I wonder.....since it has the engine just plain, I understand that the torque in low gear can be compromised...Or not really? Thanks
Ya its a big thing lol if you go offroading trust me you will need I had the rubber ones rip out and move the whole transmission back only thing holding was the clutch cable and throttle cable , oh and a ratchet strap lol so we can drive it home
Hey mate, last vid you were having issues with it idling, do you remember what the problem was off hand? i've got a 72 superbug that I'm starting to notice it was having similar issues recently
I tried that! The liner was rubber/plastic and the wire wheel slowly ground through it, the chisel worked better to get underneath the liner and peel it off.
Had a feeling it would foul as soon as I saw you fit them there. The interior will need gutting when you race it don't want loads of flammable furniture in there plus cage and seats, who will be your co-pilot I would volounteer
Great looking 👀 bug. 🪲great video.
Nice one!
YEAH!! Congratulations from Brasil!!

Literally just finished watching EP 2. Perfect timing!!!
Thank you for the breakdown, debating doing this to my 1968 bug, this thing turned out fantastic!
Wow! super clean and lovely job men! xoxoxo from Argentina
Awesome job bro, love your bug and your passion. Looking forward to see the progress on the bug , Notifications:ON
Awesome job on the bug.

Killing it bro, Awesome build clean !!! But then again all your guys builds are clean 🤙

The music fading into the montage was 👌🏼
HAHA gotta keep those transitions clean

I'm Building a rally Bug So the Beam was a Great Idea... can't wait for more on the Bug..
Love the Prerunner too
Nice Job! I"ve always liked putting steering brakes on my bugs, especially baja's. Getting that tight turn is nice and fun once you learn them!
Great Progress!!!!
Love the build! Love the Mansell hat!! Go Red 5!!
Looks good. I’m going to paint my fender wells black.
looks good man. I did a lot of offroading / mudding in a basically stock beetle other than some super swampers on the rear
Looks awesome! Like a Baja Bug!
Excelente trabajo, de buen aspecto
Exhaust sounds great
Super clean as always
This is super cool!!!!
Loving the bug series. Thanks.
Sounds great with that exhaust you guys built! Looks great too!
Good job 2W on the VW👍
honestly love the work you put into this!
Good job bro
omg yes! I was waiting for another bug video!
Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos dónde compraste todas las piesas
Nice! Time to cut it up to make it look like a baja
This isss sooo sick
This was very informative. The build of the car is what I’d like to do so how much for a front just like yours from spindle to spindle?
Hey Guy's well done on the bug, can you tell me the brand and size of the tyres please?
I want to put the same suspension to my 68. Do you have a list of what you did to your bug
I dig it
Any update on this Bad Bug?!
What size of tire did you put??
Good job!! On your way to class 11
Any updates?
What size tires do you have?
Hi what size of tires you have
Bad ass!
What size studs do they press in to replace lug bolts?
Did you get the 4, 7, or 10" long mufflers?
That bug is on god teir
Nice 👌🏻
hi, I saw that you have fitted 215 75 r15 tyres, I wanted to ask you, have you fitted them on the original 4 1/2 Volkswagen rims?
I was wondering the same , however 215 wide is over 8'' so fitted to 4 1/2 would be not right. Possibly 6'' rims. Lets hope he replies.
Please tell, what wheels and tires are those, been looking forever and those are amazing
Oh... Nvm 😳
Is the suspension too stiff looks a little bumpy
Hello. Good job! One question: Does it have the standard trans? Or a vwbus trans...?. I wonder.....since it has the engine just plain, I understand that the torque in low gear can be compromised...Or not really? Thanks
Why not disc brakes?
Can you throw me a link to those shocks plz
Nice guys! What type of king shock are you running? Need these!
king class 11 front shocks
I'm not sure but I think that bed liner material is factory, my 1970 has the same shit. Could be wrong
Looks great. What product did you use in the wheel wells?
👋hi Kyle
What tire size
Yassssss I was waiting for this
Just curious if you installed a solid Mount motor mounts? highly recommend
I have not! didnt know that was a thing haha, I will check it out
Solid mounts are exceedingly harsh. Urethene are too stiff for me. I'm going back to stock next time the gearbox comes out.
Ya its a big thing lol if you go offroading trust me you will need I had the rubber ones rip out and move the whole transmission back only thing holding was the clutch cable and throttle cable , oh and a ratchet strap lol so we can drive it home

Looks like it is on tip toe's, and a tad bouncy, some shock tuning to be done.
Da goodest puppers
you guys could have probably used a wire wheel on a grinder to clean the rear wheel wells up faster
I tried that! The liner was rubber/plastic and the wire wheel slowly ground through it, the chisel worked better to get underneath the liner and peel it off.
Nice job! Looks like 1/2" on front torsion would have been plenty. She looks very unforgiving at 9/16"
Need EP 4!!!
that is where the tire hits
👍
Had a feeling it would foul as soon as I saw you fit them there. The interior will need gutting when you race it don't want loads of flammable furniture in there plus cage and seats, who will be your co-pilot I would volounteer
Likely my brother if we were to race! Everything would get stripped to make the car as light as possible.
🤙
