Brilliant for anyone using leadcore a safe and appropriate knot and description, on how to attach leadcore or even a fused leader to your mainline. Remember my Dad landed a carp and we found the hooklink in the mouth trailing a leadcore leader, where the loop had been cut and a swivel was attached to the leadcore, via a blood knot and the mainline onto the swivel. That snaged and got caught in my Dad's end tackle luckily landed the fish, unhooked the fish and it went back to fight another day.

Could you do this with a blood knot as well?
I Was thinking the same thing definetly be easier, can't see why it wouldn't work just aswell
