That's the fun thing about rescue parrots, you never know what they learned in their old homes until they pop off with something scandalous. We still love you though Cheyenne
We visited The Snake Discovery Center on Sunday 10/10/21. Everything looked amazing. We surprised our 14-year-old son Corbin for his birthday and brought him here. The kids enjoyed the experience and couldn't wait to tell their friends at school all about it. We drove 3 hours just to come and check it out! I have shared pictures with my preschool students and they were really interested and excited to learn more! I have a feeling you will get many more visitors from Northern Minnesota!
You know... Emily does reptile programs (at least I think she is, but not sure now zoo open?)... I'm sure the preschoolers would love seeing some (non-squishable) reptiles.
I think everyone agrees that Snake Discovery is one of the most amazing reptile channels out here! Your zoo is amazing and everyone's just so excited for you!

Found this channel from one of their egg hatching and Rex videos. I think it was before the channel reached 1M subs. I wasn't really a fan of reptiles before and I wanna thank Emily and Ed for making me appreciate these animals more. So great to see how far you guys have come. Sending all the love from the Philippines 💕
I think I’m going to miss all your co-stars you’ve had on the channel over the last months! This is such a huge accomplishment and I’m so happy for you both. Congratulations! All your hard work paid off into something incredible.
One thing that I think everyone would love to see is a super cut of the best moments of the facility updates ... It's funny I found this channel back when it was around just 200k and it's been a fun ride watching it grow.
Can you upload the whole interior to google maps, as Adam Savage has his cave? I am from the EU and we can not go there at all :( It would be lovely to be able to have a tour virtually. You do a lovely job! Keep up with everything!
This is my first time watching this channel and the only thing that I can think of is how much love this community has for this channel. All those gifts and little things that every one did is just pure love.
You are my spirit animal! When I was younger I loved lizards and snakes and critters and wanted to work in a zoo one day. Life had other plans, but I get to live vicariously through your adventures! I love what you and your team are doing. I even befriended a jumping spider last year to save it from the cold winter thanks to your tutorial. Congratulations on this mega accomplishment with your zoo, your excitement, and your dedication to the animals and education! 💕
I just wish that one day I’ll be able to visit in real life. Especially since my country does not allow reptile ownership, I’ve learnt a lot from your videos for a long time now. Love from Singapore :)
same...i wish we can keep snake in SG but i know it's for our own safety and as well as the reptile's. That's why i want to work at the zoo in the future :))
“Your gonna have to come here to find the answers” 😭😭 I literally live on the other side of the world from America. 😅 But I’m glad you and Ed are so happy ! Greetings from Tasmania!
YAYAY! I can’t believe that you started this s 1-2 years ago this and here is it opening wow.... I feel like you bought this building yesterday omg.... Wow Great job everyone at snake discovery!
I am so happy to see that things have come essentially full circle. I might actually have to schedule some time to come out there and visit the zoo (not sure when as things are still rather hectic). But yeah, I'm happy that the two of you achieved your goal, that you had many wonderful people help and/or support this project. And I wish you two nothing but good fortune from here on out.
I love how you guys always appreciate everything that is sent to you, I'm sure the people who sent it feel very happy, thank you for being so positive and super kind. ❤️
Congratulations Emily and Ed on the opening of the zoo, we have enjoyed watching your progress and hard work over the past year . Unfortunately we live in the UK so won't be able to visit the zoo , but if we are ever in the area your facilities will be on of our first stops . All the best 👍
I'm so happy and proud and excited and AAAHHH. Seeing the updated every couple of weeks has been so exciting and seeing it all come together makes me want to go even more.
It's been such a journey, watching you go from dreams to reality with your business. Love that you're clearly getting some time to catch up on video production now. Wishing you and the whole team many years of success!
I just cried watching you guys having such succes, I'm from México and thus cannot visit anytime soon, which sure makes me kind of sad, but knowing your ethics and love for any species I always hoped for you to have the best of the best, love you guys💓
Congratulations! I'm going to miss the updates so much! I must confess, I had my doubts that you'd pull it off when Covid hit. But my goodness, your tenacity paid off. What an incredible achievement. You should be so proud
Congrats on having the facility fully open! I'm going to miss those facility updates but the behind the scenes shenanigans sounds like a great idea. Congrats again!
the zoo looks amazing and finally all the hard work that was done has paid off and now everyone can enjoy the zoo and the animals can live in beautiful naturalistic enclosures for the rest of their lives.

I'm just in tears so happy for you guys. I've been rooting for you for all this time all the way from AZ. I even have my husband now excited for Emily and Ed videos. We're definitely planning a trip next year to come. Congratulations and you two deserve everything you have!!!
I’ve been watching y’all for years. I am so unbelievably happy for you all.
Why am I crying? So happy for you guys. Incredible to see a dream come true!
theres tears in my eyes having followed this project from start to completion.
I just wish that one day I’ll be able to visit in real life. Especially since my country does not allow reptile ownership, I’ve learnt a lot from your videos for a long time now. Love from Singapore :)
Why can’t you own reptiles in Singapore
@@juliac3933 can't purchase any wild animals in Singapore.
same...i wish we can keep snake in SG but i know it's for our own safety and as well as the reptile's. That's why i want to work at the zoo in the future :))
"Cheyenne called me a slur"
"Cheyenne made it, looks like the rest didn't"
Cheyenne: it's eat or be eaten
“Your gonna have to come here to find the answers” 😭😭 I literally live on the other side of the world from America. 😅 But I’m glad you and Ed are so happy ! Greetings from Tasmania!
YAYAY! I can’t believe that you started this s 1-2 years ago this and here is it opening wow.... I feel like you bought this building yesterday omg.... Wow Great job everyone at snake discovery!
Its so incredible you guys have a zoo now. Ive watched this channel for years and its lovely to see you actualize your dreams xxx
"Okay so cheyenne made it, Emely died, oh Kim died too...."
Well that's a part of the nature' cycle you know.
I was there on the Friday of grand opening and had a blast! I can't wait to be able to stop by again sometime!
You guys deserve everything you have. Great job to all who helped you along the way. Hope the future is even brighter.
Congratulations! I'm going to miss the updates so much! I must confess, I had my doubts that you'd pull it off when Covid hit. But my goodness, your tenacity paid off. What an incredible achievement. You should be so proud
I wish I could be there to witness the hard work pay off after being along on your journey so long. Congrats from California

Poor poor roger ☠️
Congrats on having the facility fully open!
I'm going to miss those facility updates but the behind the scenes shenanigans sounds like a great idea.
Congrats again!
the zoo looks amazing and finally all the hard work that was done has paid off and now everyone can enjoy the zoo and the animals can live in beautiful naturalistic enclosures for the rest of their lives.
It's intense remembering all the build logs and seeing what you've done with this place. Inspiring. Might just watch it all again xd

I’m so so happy for you Emily! I’ve been following you for almost 3-4 years now and I remember all you ever wanted was to open a Zoo to share your love for reptiles with everyone and I’m so happy you got your dream! I hope to be able to visit one day!! Congratulations on the grand opening!!
