- The Santa Cruz Tallboy V5 is Santa Cruz's full 29'' trail bike with extraordinary capabilities. Although it may be a short travel trail bike, it sacrifices absolutely nothing on the descents, making it a perfect all-around mountain bike. As they put it, it's simply "the Downhiller's XC bike." Made for smashing up and down just about anything you put in front of it, this bike is EXTREMELY versatile and meant to be the jack of just about all trades. Whether you want to log some long miles in the saddle or have some fun riding a playful bike through chunk, this bike can truly do it all. I love mine. So comfortable. I never get sore. Probably more bike than I need but at 56 that comfort is much appreciated.

When you present the latest released model you should always describe the difference between V4 and V5!!

I think what they even don't ride them they looks like new, white bike even don't fit small one. 😂
aside from the new colors for the 2024s - is there any difference to the 2023 models in (which come in "taupe" and "ultra blue" colors?
It's the same exact bike, just a different part spec since SRAM/Rockshox released their new AXS Transmission and Stealth brakes. The Tallboy won't have any changes to the frame until 2025, one more year of colorway changes before the V6 comes out.
I did not like last year's colors. This year's colors for all SC bikes in general suit my taste better.
