  • How to control light.
    In this video I take you step by step through the process of lighting a still life subject to produce a soft light wraparound yet still have defined highlights.
    How to use a collapsible diffuser to control the quality of any light source.
    Technique adding a background glow.
    I will demonstrate how to use the Hue blend mode in photoshop to add a specific colour to otherwise washed-out elements in the subject.
    Everything is covered from the studio lighting using studio flash, through the tethered capture in Capture one software, to the final image in Adobe Photoshop.
    I'll use a Canon DSLR, tethered into Capture one software to show you how to capture your subject from basic image to completed photograph.
    Ideas for art photography.
    Profoto studio flash.
    Interfit 5-in-1 42 inch Reflector Kit
    Canon 24-70mm f2.8 Lens.
