I am so glad Ryan believed in her as an actress. She has talent beyond comprehension.
honestly when this season came out, I was excited gaga was in it but I often kept forgetting it was her, she makes u lose her in the charactor and i mean that in a good way. you'd think she would be distracting from the story line becuz of who she is but she playd the charactor well and makes u forget it's her.

+coolitalian96 oh I'm going there she is ruining a great show. she only won those awards because she was naked all season. she cannot act! sing yes act no! she is expressionless! Dennis O Hare or Kathy Bates deserved those awards not her they were the real stars.
+Sunshine Girl her character was dark and had no heart, she had to be serious and emotionless throughout the whole season and she did a fantastic job at doing that. And it was her first big role, don't start criticizing at only a first look at what as has to offer, wait for the next season.
+coolitalian96 I just don't know about her I'm a die hard Jessica fan and nobody can measure up to her. I honestly tried go get into Hotel but the storyline was crap which I'll admit wasn't gagas fault I never used miss a single episode of AHS since day 1 but found myself turning the channel in the middle of most AHS Hotel episodes. On the bright side in the middle of channel surfing in my bordem with AHS last season I did fall in love with something better than AHS. The Walking Dead now that's a great show everything else is just a time filler until The Walking Dead Season 7 premier.

I had no idea who she really was when this aired. I heard her name on the radio and a few of her songs but that was about it. Man she blew me away during this season and ended up being my favorite part. So I looked her up after the season ended and have been a fan since. Then she killed it in A Star is Born. She was born to act and I hope she does a lot more in the future.
Shes also a great vocalist amd classical pianist
I was excited to hear she was joining the cast when they announced this season, but I honestly never expected to forget it was her watching each episode. She just so perfectly embodies this role that I often forgot I was watching Lady Gaga play a fictional character! So many people rolled their eyes at this performance but now shes a Golden Globe Winner, Oscar winner, AND Best Actress nominee!
I loved watching this, I could not get enough of her outfits the whole season, her outfits were EVERYTHING! She fit right in with the rest of the cast and as a fan I could not be more proud of her, I am ecstatic she is returning for season 6 and can't wait to she what she brings to the table come October.

In all honesty I never like lady gaga or her music and didn't think she would be any good as a actress, I was WRONG she was born to play the countess the hair and makeup and over the top wardrobe it all came to together perfectly and for someone who has done little to no acting she did a great job
Actually she studied method acting for over 10 years and this was not her first onscreen role. She was an actor before she was a pop star, so the fact that she is spectacular is no surprise.
I finished the entire season and I was skeptical st first but I gave her the benefit of the dout and she did fantastic, truly amazing!

that shit was so confusing and was another reason I hated this season of AHS. They should have had someone else play one of those roles that way it would've made sense. AHS makes millions of Dollars off every season so them cutting corners and using one actor for two completely different roles was confusing and just plain bull shit!
because the countess was looking for people that looked like Valentino. Another reason she dumped Donovan for Tristan because he looked more like Valentino.
The whole story was just confusing to me hiring two separate actors that look similar would've made more sense. All of the other AHS seasons were so good. Their storyline was easy to follow but not Hotel it was just confusing. I am hopeful for S6 to be better but probably will be like last season then the show will spiral into cancelation.

Boo. This was absolutely the worst season of AHS. Lady Gaga should stick to singing and leave roles for Jessica Lange. A travesty to the AHS franchise if you ask me.

Nope I really tried to like it and watched until Ep.5. Terrible. Hotel got lost in Lady Gaga, they let her ruin the Franchise. Lady Gaga has almost ZERO range and spoke in the same monotone voice throughout. What we were seeing was NOT the Countess but watching Lady Gaga. I don't know if it was the writing or the acting but I seriously suspect that Lady Gaga just couldn't deliver what the writers had intended and that ripple effect undermined the entire season.
Hope they get their bearings back for Season 6. I think it's unanimous that Hotel is the worst, so no point in arguing with me.
+MrKeyframes what's funny to me is that as brilliant as jessica lange is, she literally played the same character in every season, just a different accent and a different name. The monotone voice for gaga was her character, she will be back for next season, so I suspect you won't be back for season 6.
