Meredith translates to "Sea Lord" or "Protector of the Sea" What is notable is in mythology the oceans represented the chaos before creation often anthropomorphized as a Sea Serpent or Dragon. This Chaos is not like the chaos in its modern meaning. It meant, formless, without form, vast, deep and ETERNAL!

It might not be in the translation catalog. Remember, it was actually an elective in Asgard, so that means only a few people might know this language.

It’s also worth noting that Asgard is incredibly rich, so it’s very possible that other planets don’t even have the resources they would need to learn that language. Like how fancy private schools teach lots of languages but public schools only teach a few

@@Jeefley maybe translators work both ways people who have them understand laungeuges in the catalog but maybe people who don't have them the translater lets the users speak that language

Guardians is still one of my favorite parts of the MCU and Marvel
I personally enjoy the GOTG films most out of all the Marvel films. They're my favourite and the way they speak to personal relationships and parental figures is just something that's outstanding for me. I also feel that building on the cosmic side of marvel the GOTG was a perfect idea and execution.

Another detail I've always liked about the soundtrack is in the climax of the movie (Black Tears playing), that every time a Guardian gets in contact with the Stone (except Gamora/Meredith), the song builds tension getting a tone up, until they stabilize the energy from the Stone.
That's when the Guardians' theme is played for the first time, and if you look at the harmony, the chords are the same as the Avengers' theme, only changed in order (Im-IV-VI for the Guardians, Im-VI-IV for the Avengers), as they were "the cosmic Avengers".
Don't know if that helps to the hidden easter egg, but just wanted to share :)

@@JusDion a lot of these marvel films are meant to be analysed. Otherwise why put the Easter eggs in there in the first place. In my opinion, it makes for an entertaining video. But I do understand your point (movies are put on hold because of the pandemic so there's not a lot to be analysing)

The song of "Come and get your love" returned on the Avengers endgame in the Time travel scene. After Thor gets the hammer. But my question is what happen to the Thor in 2013 when the Thor in 2023 got the Hammer. I love your channel by the way lol >3

I'll be honest, in that scene where Peter sees his mom as he's holding that power stone, and we see a weird cosmic background, I thought that might've meant something. But since it wasn't mentioned then it probably wasn't. Which is kinda sad cos I spent waaaay too long thinking about what it could've meant.

Is it me or does this Guardian movie have the most expansive celebrity cast excluding the infinity movies of course; Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, John C Riley, Glenn Closs, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel. Benicio Del Toro, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Josh Brolin, Peter Serafinowicz, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, and on and on... crazy list. I can't think of another Marvel movie that has this many.

One of the things I've always loved most about the Guardians of the Galaxy movies is the way they use great old songs tied intrinsically into the plot.
