I remember watching this and being completely blown away at the last 45 minutes of action. I didnt think it was gonna get any better than that and yet here we are.
Also when Stark and Banner are talking about Hulk being the cure is brought up later in the breakfast scene in endgame.
1:05 no-one ever brings up the fact that this thing is shaped like Tony's ark reactor with an infinity stone inside it. Endgame was foreshadowed back in 2012.

This movie is still one of my all time favorites. Seeing these characters onscreen together for the first time was like a dream come true. Infinity War was also amazing in many of the same ways, but this one still holds a special place in my heart.
I also feel like Cap’s “We won” in Avengers is a way for Cap to get closure in celebrating victory since he missed that feeling 70 years prior.
I dont care what ANYONE says. This first The Avengers movie is an *ALL TIME CLASSIC MOVIE.* its exactly everything it needed to be. It is an unprecedented achievement in filmmaking never thought possible, literally laughed out of movie studios when marvel pitched the early early MCU before the MCU to a few different studios
I know some people have said they don't like the Avengers after the hype died down and we've had the whole Infinity Saga beginning to end, with Avengers Infinity War, and Avengers Endgame, which on their own or all together are literal cinematic masterpieces of technical and creative intelligence, patience, and mastery of impossible precision and efficiency unlike anything any one has ever seen, and it couldn't have been any more perfect (other than arguably some time travel paradoxes, but im okay with them because its time travel there is always paradoxes) or if the X-Men and Fantastic Four were in it lol but an original mcu fantastic four, no FOX bs. Anyway, yes technically the Avengers 3 and 4 are far better in almost every way, as well as many other movies being more tight scripts with more focused plots and little to no plot holes or logic issues, like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as well as Captain America: Civil War, ( side note; the latter being in my personal favorite 5 at least, with IW, EG, SM:FFH, AV1, and CW making that list, but it always changes) but The Avengers will always be an absolute classic movie and no one can take that away from it.
You could have said The Avengers is an ALL TIME CLASSIC MOVIE instead of writing a whole paragraph. I would have believed you either way.

@@Soccercrazyigboman me too until theorized that Loki is one of the few villains who has a clear backstory (from the first Thor movie) and has clear motives. He's actually a well written villain.

I loved this movie as a kid, still remember seeing it with my family back in 2012, epic.
When Cap tells Tony “we won” I think this is a call back to when Cap tells fury “when I went in the ice the world was at war, when I woke up they told me we won”. Same situation for Tony.
I just noticed the footage of the Abidjan Operation (when Coulson calls Natasha, 1:44 in this video) looks a lot like the scene when the two of them reminisce about Budapest during the battle of NY.

I feel like Tony’s Arc Reactor is powered by plasma spinning at high speeds creating energy like a lightbulb.And since the arc reactor is on Tony’s heart the Scepter wouldn’t work
Avengers ranks in my top 5 of fav MCU films and it gets better every time I watch it

10:56 Those aren't Phase 2 weapons. Those are the same Hydra weapons that Cap faced off against in WW2. Still, finding them in a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier is a nod to the fact that Hydra isn't as gone as they seem.

You missed something while Loki was in the containment facility. If you look closely at one of the monitors, you notice that one has a thermal image. The room lights up in greens, oranges, and reds. But look at Loki, he’s solid blue. Blue means cold. That reveals that Loki is a Frost Giant.
