I'm an eggaholic, and like mine sunny side up too. I also use a small pan to keep them gathered together.....BUT.....I like them to be really crispy around the edges. So to achieve that, I cook them in a generous amount of oil (about 2 Tbsp) which I allow to get really hot. While the edges are getting crispy, the whites are cooking rapidly except the area surrounding the yolks. So I tilt the pan and allow the oil to pool on one side. This allows me to scoop up a spoonful of the hot oil and pour it over the uncooked area of whites. I repeat this 3-4 times, which is enough to cook the whites completely. Even though the yolks can't escape from the hot oil being poured around them, it doesn't cook them. This method might warm the yolks a bit, but they're still totally runny. And the crispiness around the edges gives me the best of both worlds!
@@sandychilds3253 o…meeerrr..geeeerdd. That sounds amazing. It reminds me of when my mom cooked fried eggs in bacon grease on a cast iron skillet over a camp fire! She would flick the bacon grease on top of the eggs to cook them and…. Yeah. Amazing!! Thanks so much for sharing and watching!
@ me too! Thanks so much for watching. Check out my channel for some other cool vids. I just posted a stuffed peppers video that I’m really excited about!
Thanks for the vid. Is that a non-stick pan? If so, you should invest in some wooden or silicone utensils. Regardless of how careful you think you are the fork will damage your slick coating.
@@baldoldman8083 great point! I do have some non-stick pans that I have scratched up over the years! I usually use wooden flat spoons to cook with, but for fried eggs I found that the fork is perfect! I decided Great eggs require great sacrifice (for nonstick surfaces)… thanks so much for watching!
@@chriswinnek7200 I think generally AI art is gonna get a bad wrap but you dont really need it. Just use the last shot of the dish you're trying to make in the thumbnail with some fancy writing.
Thank you. Yes, how to get that white on top to cook without stuff burning. I'll try it your way. You asked how you can make your video better? That horrible music in the background almost got me to simply turn it off. I don't like any music behind spoken words unless it lends deeper understanding of the words, and there's precious little of that. But those twinkly electronic notes are worse than distracting and annoying.
@@lancerexford thank you so much! I agree the music is annoying. I’ll try to adjust that on the next video. I like music on the intro tho. Thanks for watching and please come back to the channel to check out my other vids!
@chriswinnek7200 I'd just be careful with the use of AI images. Most of the time it is incredibly easy to tell and the majority of the time. It's seen as a bad thing

Very simple and to the point. I like the idea of keeping the pan at a tilt, very smart.

AI Thumbnail..
@@Wiltontwoper it is! I thought it was pretty cool. I would love your thoughts on it. Do you prefer something else?

@ interesting. Thanks for letting me know. Why do you think it is seen as a bad thing?
@chriswinnek7200 it's kind of a sign of laziness. As far as thumbnail work goes. AI generated work seems to be to lowest tier
