I had to go rewatch that part twice because I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that Jishwa said that XDXDXD
I think Tyler's subtle approach to religion is a powerful one. He never denies his beleifs, but he presents them in such a mild way that I beleive it draws people in. The people on the fringes. He wont shove religion down your throught like some people are so terrified of that happening to them. But at the same time the underlying tone is there and it gives his songs real substance and deep meaning. Because in the end when you dont write about the superficial and silly surface ideas and topics like women and money, you start asking bigger questions and struggling with the idea of 'real stuff'. And thats where the fear comes in. 'real stuff' scares most people, or at least gives them some mild fear. I think its natural to want to beleive in something bigger than yourself, i personally do. But tyler presents his thoughts and struggles in a way that I think most people, no matter what your involvement in religion is or is not, can relate to. And they to can then begin to ask themselves important questions. Its all about making people think, if they let the lyrics really sink in.

Macklemore.
I really like this interviewer! He's so uplifting to them I mean they're making fun of themselves but then he's there like "but you still walked out with all those reviews". And when he talks about their music and their genre, he's so respectful and I feel like he gets them, while still remaining slightly funny. Some interviewers could take an example from him.
This is so accurate I can't even express it. This interviewer's gotta be my favorite. So many interviewers nowadays are so disrespectful.

i have different favorite interviewers like the kid who called Tyler to Josh, the one from Never have I ever, the one from 21 minutes and the one from Face Culture. But yeah this one just made it to the list
When Josh was air-playing the ukulele at 6:10 I got really excited because that strum is an actual strum (down down up) and it's so cute because he doesn't even play ukulele but I just picture him playing Tyler's every once in a while and Tyler teaching him basic chords and strums and yeah that's all

i remembered like back around February 2014 i deleted all my Christian/ religious music (tenth avenue North. the band red hillsong) etc. and had enough of them and their "sugar coating" main part was to make more space in my phone to download all of tøp. at the time i just thought it was like fob or p!atd but when i find those lil biblical/story/questioning meaning behind each other song there was no words it was fantastic to know that someone out there was putting/singing into words that like yo i feel the same. i question life too. i fear. i believe. i want to say hello too. like they brought me back to my belief and i love them okay bye lol

An interview with real questions, not the superficial crap most interviewers do to them. TØP is a band that is able to get into deep social and psychological matters.
i'm not religious and even though i adore tyler a lot, sometimes the fact that he's this much of a christian made me uncomfortable, but i accepted it because i know it means so much to him and everything. but when he talked about it in this interview, it all became clear to me, in fact, i expected him to explain it with something like this and he did give the wisest answer and now i just feel like a wall has been wrecked and i love him even more (as if that's possible), you feel?
it's so cute how by the end when tyler said "no i don't touch people" josh subtly shook his head like agreeing with tyler even tho it seemed like he wasn't really paying attention to the conversation?? jsjfksjsj and then tyler took kyle's hand and josh snapped out of it and hugged them both idk why this seems so cute to me but
