Investors are not everything. The company restored the trust among gamers by not giving up on the game and actually fixing it. Investors come and go and are not loyal at all, but gamers actually will be if they see that the company learns from mistakes and makes good on them.

All these critics. I think the studio shows that it puts emphasis on quality & soul of a project, rather than just commencing with "what sells best". There should be more important things that profitability in the end. How many big studios make profitable games, but lack of soul. Cyberpunk and Witcher are two of the most outstanding games out there, so I say let the studio do it their way and shut up about it. Everyone these days knows it better.
@@sinu9226 The Witcher 1 and 2 doesn't suck at all, only the tech CDPR work at that time wasn't great, a remake of TW1 and TW2 would do wonders for the franchise and CDPR, altough, as far as i know, CDPR is only making a remake of TW1, not TW2.
I'll say this all these big companies fail to realize that they're short-sighted greed is the reason things fall short they get too greedy and fail to see the big picture if you make a game truly good and make sure that you care about the players experience and do everything you can to make it as good as possible then it will sell then you will make a lot of money because then you'll have a game that people will be willing to buy for years do I think cyberpunk was a mistake yes I'll be lying if I said otherwise but I think it was a learning experience for cdpr

Cyberpunk is a masterpiece and will be seeling for at least a decade from now, this is how games work, it takes time, but over time is incredibly profitable and a masterpience can be selled for a long time. CDPR should worry with their catalogue of games, not investors, even Gwent is a good game once you compare with other card games in the market, if CDPR keep adding great games to their catalogue, this games would pay themselves over time.

If CDPR does reboot The Witcher 1, they better reboot 2 and 3..., and release them before 4. It's not surpising that the studio is collapsing. After letting Amazon butcher the tv show, I do not have high hopes for what they do for The Witcher 4.
I'm not sure TW3 even NEED a reboot, the game was just recently updated to Next Gen, and looks beautifull, also, CDPR isn't doing reboots, reboots are when you change the story and things like that, CDPR is doing a remake of TW1 wich is just lift up technical aspects of the game, like gameplay, graphics and such... I trust on CDPR to deliver a great TW1 remake. As for TW2 i believe it also need a remake...
Ok, not necessarily a reboot of TW3. But the base game storyline had some inconsistencies depending on how you played. Don't get me wrong, I love the game. It's probably my favorite of the 3. There were just several ways you could break the story that needed to be addressed. As for remaking TW1 and 2, knowing the ingame lore, 2 does not fit well in between 1 and 3. At best, it felt like a DLC for 1. And 1 needed a lot more back story and explanation as to way Geralt had lost his memory.
