@@unclelester9701 Because when they have completely unrealistic proportions (like ultra-skinny bodies) it can make kids go, am I supposed to look like that? Which is really unhealthy.

If in all of the cartoons you watched and all of the toys you played with, it seemed like to be beautiful you had to be skinny and big-eyed, well, 0-6 is a really impressionable age.
They're also a lot less logical than either of us.
I am not black, but I would buy this doll if I had a daughter, because it is beautiful, and not every doll on the market is. This is really good design, and great idea, that child can wash the hair over and over, that is first they do, and often ruin the doll :)
Now my son is grown up, if he become a father of a girl, this is going to be one of the dolls she gets from her granny :).

I am so surprised to see someone declare such hideous accusations about you. Your comment was beautiful. And you are right. This product has a great design that has never been done before. I wish it wasn’t a black and white thing in our country but unfortunately, we live in a society that has been built on racism since the 1500s. It’s been passed on from generation to generation, and it’s STILL here! As a mother and future grandmother, you have the opportunity to pass down love instead of hate. And this sounds like exactly what you have done and will continue to do.

Young Girls in nyc need this badly; it’s kinda depressing seeing the little ones with wigs, weave or perm so early.
I love the beautiful diversity in hair, skin, eye colors, and body figure types that our God and creator has made us to be! Love this doll and can't wait to add it to my collection!

Watched this and started to cry happy tears. Zoe looks just like my daughter and I’m so grateful she has a doll like this. She was so happy when I brought this home last night.
I’m huge on my daughter’s self esteem and mental health. This is a huge step towards her living a happy life. So many children suffer from depression and little girls struggle a lot with their appearance. My baby has the longest fullest head of hair that I’ve ever seen on a 4 year old and everyone else says the same thing when we are out in public. I’m just so happy for little black girls. This product not only bring joy to the children, but brings sooo much joy to me. I can’t wait to buy her all the outfits and products on the website ❤

This is a fantastic idea!! It would be great if she became successful enough to offer dolls with custom hair colors and skin tones (like the American Girl line does). Especially since a lot of mixed girls struggle with their hair care.
Absolutely the best in dolls so far…many black girls don’t know how to manage their beautiful hairs. Thanks for coming up with this as a form of play/learning.. I’ve purchased two of ur dolls so far marrisol and Zoe, and I want gaianna also..very beautiful dolls with natural hair.❤❤❤
Great story I fell for it !!! But when the I ordered the doll it was delayed and the company refused to refund my order. Ordered in November they are saying I won’t receive it untill next year

Same for me! I just got it today after ordering November 6th. The doll has a wig cap glued to its head with strips of human hair WEAVE...yes WEAVE and cheap doll strip lashes. Very disappointed and they won’t refund your money. Customer service if horrible!

I really appreciate what this doll stands for. However, it is unacceptable to have not received the doll after initially ordering it in April. We ordered it for our granddaughter’s birthday in May because they moved, the company does not accept address changes, therefore, you have to resubmit your order with your new address. We did that in June and as of today December 19 we still have not received the doll. The company continued to tell us shipment is back ordered. When I mentioned a refund, they told us it was shipped. After I contacted the shipping company, they told us they never received the doll, the company only made the shipping label and was waiting on the product. That was over two weeks ago OnTrac was waiting for the product. The company continues to tells us they will look into it and Zoe is on her way. We are still waiting 6 months later.
Unacceptable!!! I got the doll today after ordering November 6th and I was really disappointed. It was supposed to be for Christmas. I expected this doll to be bomb and so well made...well she had a wig cap glued to her head with weave strips of human hair glued to it. She has painted eyelashes but then they glued a strip of cheap lashes right under her lid. I undressed her and her legs are sewn into a soft bottom so they are not in a joint and felt like they would just break off. I’m extremely disappointed.

Great idea! There are so many people of color that don't know how to do their own hair. Now just work on trying to bring the cost down. I think it would be great if every little girl could have a doll like this, life changing! Thank you!
I need something similar to that!! I have curly hair, but I'm super pale and I have epycanthic folds... basically, finding a doll that looked like me would be a dream come true. Also, I don't know how to take care of my hair so it always look weird
@Wolfreign Valenford I try to, but when I remove them half of my hair is on the scrunchie (I forgot the name of the actual thing but it's similar to a scrunchie)... but thanks for the tip

I really wished these dolls were around back in the early '00s.
I'm a yt mama but I'm raising a son to be inclusive, to embrace femininity, love bipoc and LGBTQIA. He LOVES dolls and calls them his babies. I know he'd love this doll. His hair is long and likes to do his hair. This doll would be perfect for his upbringing ESPECIALLY if he ever grew up to have a mixed race daughter- you never know -
And when he gets older and grows out of dolls we can donate to a child who wants to love her too

Just got two dolls for my daughter and niece.
What is the hair made off? I hope it is not from animals if animals are being harmed. The nylon hair on most dolls is the worst. This hair looks strong and very workable.
