I tow my bay boat to Marathon canal rental every year, I looked at this rental. Two weeks in this house with the boat in the Keys would be a vacation to remember!
My husband and I are flying out of Key West airport at 6:10 tonight. We just finished having lunch at Hogfish on Stock Island. It is such a beautiful day here. I don’t want to go back to Connecticut!
You guys are amazing we watch your videos religiously and Lori is getting much better in front of the camera loads of information the content is impeccable this property is gorgeous keep up the great work
Wow! Love the video. Priced right. Little over my budget but y’all have lots within most budgets. When splitting the rental with another couple or two,it’s really very affordable for a piece of paradise. Thanks
Hey, you two. It has been a while since I have been in touch with you, but life for me has been a bit hectic. I want to rent this whole house for myself, about now. I did take my cruise in April and had such a fun time with all the people I met and loved it. If it was my last cruise, I could not complain. Traveling alone can be a lot of fun if you have a sense of humor and like to have fun. I have trouble keeping in touch with you guys and others because right now my sister who is 79 and has had all sorts of illnesses in the past 3 years, is on a waiting list for a low-income over 65 rental apartment. Long story short, she has been living between my apartment and our sister-in-law's home since Jan. It has not been easy for any of us. With any luck, she will have a place of her own in a few weeks. She is now second in line on the waiting list. Good to be able to take the time to write to you again. I need a vacation again. Lauri, you looked like a walking palm tree in this video. Cute dress.
Thank you Joyce! So glad you got to go on your cruise and had a great time. I think it is all in your perspective to make your life a joy or not. Hopefully your sister will get settled in somewhere soon.
Thank you! It is very close to restaurants and stores. The island of Marathon where it is located is only 13 miles long but you can go to many restaurants and stores within 10 minutes or less.
I will take it. Those palm trees will be my Christmas tree's. Just like the Corona commercial. And that outdoor cook area needs to be tiki'ed up. Other than that it is perfect.
There is a limit to how high you can build in the Keys, that being said things are always changing depending on other variables. One variable is whether you are in unincorporated Monroe County or one of the municipalities, like Key West or Marathon. I believe unincorporated Monroe is at 40 ft. now. Always confer with the government authorities in the area you are interested in for absolute and timely ordinances updates.
23:07 *I have a fear of heights too.* I'd be totally OK with the 2nd story, because the fall would not be severally damaging. But that roof view is too high for me to feel comfortable. It's weird, because I have no fear in airplanes or *enclosed* NYC skyscraper observation decks. The fear is only there when there's a way to actually fall, even if you'd have to leap over a railing to do it. If it's something I can visualize happening, I'll feel the fear.
Are prices holding in the keys? Still mostly cash buyers? Do you see sales or prices declining as rest of country..I personally think they will hold strong. We are an anomaly in the US because of our lifestyle..don't see any crash coming to the keys...your opinion??
Well I'm no financial advisor, but I do expect the Keys will be shielded somewhat from any huge market changes at least in the near future. It's anybody's guess....

More inventory coming as people hurry to list( they know they missed the peak) , minor price drops coming from sellers too.. more negotiating..less acceleration of value/ appreciation. No biggie here. But in bad areas like Austin, etc sellers will get less cash out of homes to buy with. So fewer cash sales maybe..but RE still safer and better tax haven than the stock market unless you are a buy and hold investor in high value dividend stocks..jmho
Those shades are noisy and not aligned and tracking evenly. Definitely not Lutron shades, even Somfy shades aren't that bad if installed properly. Hopefully they got dual sided to block the solar gain from the sun during the day!

Hi, this house is only available for 7 night rentals, it doesn't rent for less than that. You would have to check your local airport for airfare.
