I’m so glad you kept it up and didn’t give in to them. They just want to keep YOU quite so THEY can keep taking advantage of people. I’m sorry you were dragged and threatened by other vets - just shows their true (ugly) character.
I found you because I am trying to help my nephew who is losing his sweet kitty who is only 8 years old. He is currently unemployed due to covid and also has a great burden of student loan debt. He has spent most of his young life following his dreams and helping others. Like you also, he gave years in service to his country, you in the Merchant Marine, he, in the the Army National Guard. Thank you both. My David volunteered at his local Humane Society and found his cat and gave him his forever home even though he has feline herpes. It's 1:30 a.m. on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and you are there in support, solidarity and prodigious medical knowledge for all of us agonizing pet parents. Thank you for giving us the tools to make informed caring decisions in treatment and outcome. Thank you for standing up for what you believe. Thank you for giving voice to those of us who truly care and want to make a difference but don't have a lot of money. Thank you for standing up against a large for profit industry so like human medicine. You are the epitome of the supremely ethical medical practitioner, be she in human or veterinary medicine. I'm sorry and ashamed you had to suffer reprisals, threats and professional humiliation you didn't deserve. I pray you are continuing your practice and media outreach without any kind of harassment or backlash. I also pray you receive the positive recognition you deserve, especially from your colleagues. Regardless, your kindness and dedication doesn't go unnoticed. Keep on being who you are. Thank you again. You are truly a hero on the front lines of healthcare and animal welfare. May the good Lord bless you and all the furbabies you care for along with their parents. Happy belated Thanksgiving and a joyous holiday season.

Veterinary Secrets is a vet out of Vancouver Canada that had to resign his license from the Province for the holistic advice he gives people to treat minor issues at home (ear infections and yeast). They grabbed the pitch forks and went after him as well trying to help people who couldnt always afford to bring their pet to the vet for non-emerg care.
Thank you for your bravery. From the low quality food we give our furbabies to the vet care that is ridiculously expensive, it's no wonder why so many pets are put to sleep unnecessarily. Thank you for your humanity. I am subscribing!
I really don't think a vets or veterinarian companies care about animals. All about money. My dog is sick. She is starving to death because she won't eat. I took her to 2 places just to have her Diagnosed and they wanted $1833 or more just to tell me whats wrong. She has not eaten for 8 days now. She is the sweetest Loving dog I have ever known. I live on social security a fixed income. I am a diabetic and it cost me everything to survive. No one will help me with my baby.

I work in the veterinary medical field, and I applaud you for speaking out and then standing by your views. I feel like the rise of corporate monopolization of veterinary medicine has a lot to do with many current problems including the huge costs of care, ( and of channeling the profits up the chain and away from skilled care providers ). It's just sad on so many levels.
