You gotta love videos like this that are willing to explore the "tougher" side of Jamaica. Videos that show the positive side of these kind of places that are usually considered unappealing to international audiences. I love the positivity you are capturing here, and how authentic it all feels.

There were so many warm & kind elderly people there. We would to read, talk, listen or pray with the elderly, all prior to the home a wooden structure then, tragically burning down. So much sadness and death such a tragedy.

Trying to catch up and watch all your videos. Love the interaction and the down to earth attitude you have. People make out Jamaica 🇯🇲 or Jamaicans to be bad. There are just a few that give us a bad name. Love the vibes “ Rude Boy”, not “Star Boy”. Reason I say that, is because you walk with a certain swagger, confidence, like you’re in your back yard, while in fact you’re in the heart of the Ghetto, where some Jamaicans living there would not even venture. Good and bad live everywhere. Good vibes, food , music, people. Blessings mi Breda, walk good.

What you show Chris is that the society just other the poor and scorn them like lepers. What you show are real some real people with dreams who are hoping and trying for a better life. If the government cannot do for the underprivileged then we the people need to take actions. I applaud Ladyville Highlights. There are many good people right from these communities that are turning around things themselves. These actions are going on right here in the United States.

Glad you get to speak to some real Jamaicans who will tell you the truth. Both political parties were responsible for the war in the 70s and 80s. It's about time our people come together and wise up to the politicians and stop the war. 🙏🏽🇯🇲

The owner of the hotel reached out to me, and apologized. I have no hard feelings, just not everyone should be working in the hospitality industry. Can't bring your anger to work if you are working with others. No hard feelings, life goes on.

Ppl always say " DONT GO THERE" ...what they consider "dangerous areas".....in reality ppl there just trying to survive with that they have ( as you can see. My man's found a way to make a homemade grill out of materials around him just to sell food to feed him and his family)
But what I'm trying to say is....them type of areas have the most kindest and genuine ppl. They just are in a predicament where they HAVE to survive with what life throw as them. Remember they not rich folks in these types of communities. Much respect 💯🖤✊🏿

Freaking Awesome Chris! As they say, you "did road." The people there are real to the soul and are basically mis-understood. Politics is the evil element that has divided the people there. Father Hugh Sherlock had a vision but somewhere along the line the goal was discarded. Blessings Chris. Keep bringing these videos. One Love.
