- Flooding in The Woodlands Texas, officially a part of Spring Texas outside of Houston, on April 18 2015. This contains footage of Lake Woodlands and the bridge which crosses the lake on Woodlands Parkway. There is also video of flooding on one of The Woodlands Conference Center golf courses..
That is a massive amount of water! In comparing Google Maps to this video I'm able to see where the flooding occured. The people who planned The Woodlands community (a master planned community), must've allowed for a flood such as this. The water looks as if it hasn't reached the buildings, just a park area and golf course. Li'l ducky at 7:03 is enjoying itself!

As Texans go through this horrible experience and benefit from the billions of dollars of federal aid they will be receiving, I hope they will be more compassionate toward others than when they voted against aid for those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
