Great job! You are lucky to have a viewing window in your bike frame. My case is more complicated. I need to replace the Dropper Post on a Specialized TURBO TERO 4.0 - Electric Mountain Bike. The reason is that this is an American bike model, with a short Dropper Post - 120mm. For a normal frame size L, the height of a cyclist is up to 185 cm, 4-5 cm of seatpost height is missing. My height is 184 cm. I need to install a Dropper Post 150 - 170mm. The control cable runs not just inside the frame, but also under the engine. When removing the old Dropper Post, it does not come completely out of the frame. And to replace it, you either need to open the engine or use a workshop service.

I'm still sitting here with mine and it's really hard just to remove the seatpost i Think they forgot to grease it at specialized,,but it looks easier on mine because of the side arm... ONLY thing I'm good at fixing is broken chain's that's not going to help.. but I also learned that on RUclips,, anyways any tips for removing a stuck seat post?

@@HeathenRides Its a pain when things hold you up. Without seeing what you're working with its hard to advise. Search if anyone had the same issue first. You could put release oil on the post to soak down, or give it a litte tap to shock it free. Good Luck

@@WelshGallivanter I been figthing with it so hard couldn't get it out when I wanted to put in a shorter seat post so I could get it further down, atlast i gave up and struggled it down again and riding with it all the way down all the time because I don't want to deal with it,,, it's not like I need to push so hard with my legs anyway when having those 95nm of torque from the motor (Turbo levo) but I guess you are right i should put some oil in their,,i got a box of balistol I think it's for cc cleaning guns and stuff so They doesn't jam and maintain them and get shit out when cleaning them and I have wet lube for the chain ,, I'll guess I should use the balistol..i used it on my chain before worked really well all the joints became like new right after and it stayed on very well.. but I still want help to install the dropper even i dont Think it's very difficult because I can see where it is supposed to be but it's only empty slot

@@HeathenRides You could always pop to your local bike shop and ask for advice or ask them to take a look.
