    I’ve been on the hunt for a good sour dough biscuit recipe. These are the best! They turned out flaky and tender and buttery. The second time I made them I used the food processor being care to not over mix. It was definitely faster and they were as flaky and as tender as the first batch done by hand. This will be my go to biscuit recipe! Thanks, Sam!

    I'm one of the few people who don't like the taste of sourdough. I'm here to watch your kitchen helper. So cute! Your classic biscuit recipe is my go to...delicious 😋

      @anthonyman8008- I had gallbladder surgery last October. My hospital dietician wants me to have sour dough " everything!"
      Fortunately I enjoy the taste of sourdough ~ Diane

    Ok so I made these today! (FINALLY) my parents and I thought they were sooo good. Only thing is I needed more time in the oven, and added egg wash so they could brown a little more. Other than that this will be a new Saturday morning staple in my home 🙏👏 Thank you!!!

    Your child is too cute! He puts a smile on my face. Also great recipe and very interesting combination with sourdough. I don’t think I’ve tried it before but when I do try it at some point. Thanks for sharing.

    Your little helper was so cute. Most kids might talk a lot. He was perfect!
    I have a question after watching. Do you think that instead of a glass pie pan, you could use metal or Corningware just as well? I never thought of grating butter instead of "cutting it in", this is the new thing that you have shared, and taught me. Your videos are so well done and informative. Thank you.

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  9 месяцев назад

      He was quite calm here. 🤣 I think metal, or corningware would work just fine. You may need to adjust your bake time just a bit though. :)

    Can I let the Biscuit sourdough ferment for 3-6 hours on counter ? Please answer nobody answers this question. Thank you!

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  3 месяца назад

      Yes but the butter will get soft and the biscuits won’t be as flaky. I prefer an overnight ferment in the fridge.

    I appreciate the wholesome video… but the biscuits on the thumbnail and at the beginning of the video are completely different from the biscuits you actually made. Its sorta misleading imo

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  9 дней назад

      I thought I addressed it in the video, but the ones in the photo are made with regular sugar and the ones in the video are made with coconut sugar which just colors them a little bit differently. I just wanted to show people both options/results.

    I noticed your child wanted to say something but you didn’t pay attention. Your video would be more attractive if you let your child talk to you even make a mess. He is so cute!

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  9 месяцев назад +5

      He is cute and he gets plenty of attention. He also gets to talk to me and makes plenty of messes, it just gets cut out of the video because the point of the videos is to be a helpful tutorial for people trying to make my recipes. I let the kids help me when I’m working because it’s my reality and sometimes the only way I can get the videos filmed, but it’s not the point of the video. Watch the bloopers for a snippet of behind the scenes if you’re concerned.
