Michelle, I know you were exhausted after getting the house decluttered, packed, moved and cleaned. I don’t blame you I would have hired someone to do the final clean as well. It’s done now and everything looked move in ready. Great job!!!!! FYI, I would love to see the unpacking and decorating process. Really, I love everything you post. As I have to help son move/ get into new property I feel tired just seeing you do such a good job. Maybe cleaner for me is the way to go. 😊😊

I found this air room freshener at Walmart-all natural ingredients and under ingredients it says 100% citrus oil extracts. It’s called Pure Citrus. This is to replace all my Lysol spray products as I cannot take the fumes and chemicals that Lysol ingredients have that give me headaches and chronic coughing issues. I have used Pure Citrus for about 3 weeks. It’s a game changer for me 🌸
I can’t imagine how totally exhausted you were Michelle. I know it was with mixed emotions when you packing and moving out of this home but you are taking those memories with you as you go to your new home. Try to get some rest! 😊❤😊

I will recommend plantetion shutters I have them they are awesome and very easy to clean !!!! They are timeless little pricy but is worth it ❤, beside everything you put will get dust !

I’m excited for you guys. New homes are fantastic but if I had the opportunity to do it again I’d go with roller blinds. They are just so much easier to keep clean.

We just moved into a new house and I opted for no curtains. All the rooms have white wood blinds. I just like the clean look.

Plantation shutters are such a timeless look on a house. I have them on my house and they are so much easier to clean than regular blinds.

We put flooring in 10 rooms of our house last year( including the bathrooms) professionally laid.. I have Berber carpet in my living room and HATE IT! I just vacuumed it twice today. I get it professionally cleaned right before Christmas every year. This winter, the carpet is going BYE, BYE. That will be the last room. That will be the best Christmas present I've ever had when it's gone😂 18:55

It is exhausting after the house is empty just that fact that you end up cleaning the whole house all over again, yes, I feel your pain! I only had that afternoonn and had to be out by midnight and left at 11:50pm. As furniture was moved out of a room I got to work with the sweaper and cleaning baseboards where the furniture was against and I could not move. Checking the walls for marks with my Mr Clean sponges. Bathrooms all 3 of them giving a once over, kitchen took the longest I ran a deodorizing cycle for the dish washer and washer and dryer. And of course did a once around the property and checked the garage plus scrubbed the floor since we had all the boxes in there. I feel like I did after that day watching you Michelle! LOL! You are so right! Once you can move in it will be will worth the hard work!

Suggestion here lol try only blinds first and let window treatments be the last on the list...I have taken every curtain in my house down and love it!!
I think something we all have to remember (myself especially) is that we are the author of our own book. You cannot wait for someone else to make us feel loved, happy, motivated, inspired, grateful, etc. If we want to feel loved, we have to give love. If you want to be happy you have to find ways to bring that feeling into your life. We just have to be on the look out for the silver lining amidst all of the clouds. Sure, life is far from perfect, but there is always something to be grateful for. We just have to take a step back, take a moment to mindfully breathe, and find the amazing things that life has to offer. And remember to even be grateful for the lows because they truly make you appreciate the great things in life even more.

It's funny how when you said it was the last video in this house it made me instantly sad. I have no idea why because I'm super excited for your next chapter. I LOVE doing the empty house clean, but it is so exhausting. I'd love to see how you set up each room and all the new things you add. I'm not sure if Mrs. Meyers cleaners are natural or not, but I do love some of the scents. I love that it makes my house smell like a flower garden. Some scents aren't great, but for the most part I love them. I also love the JAWS cleaners. Their window cleaner is my favorite. I think it does better than the Sprayway. I've never tried Blue Land cleaners. I also love some of the Method products as well. I hope the rest of your move goes smoothly!

Also, the best cleaner is 1 part cleaning vinegar, 1 part water and blue dawn dishwashing liquid. Shake well, spray on tiles, tub, sink, glass shower doors and especially chrome fixtures to get rid of water and calcium buildup. Let sit for 5 or 10 minutes before wiping and its like a miracle has happened. The vinegar can be loud but the smell doesn't last long.

We love our Plantation Shutters. We got the wider ones so they would be easier to clean. We chose white and they are easy to clean.

Each individual is different in how they go about it and I would love to see how you and your family "move" through the process including the unboxing. In the bedroom closet have upper and lower clothing rods. We took out the cheap wire ones and used brackets with a wood board on top with a metal or wooden rod. So much more sturdier and nicer looking.
I have no motivation today. I went to the doctor yesterday and was diagnosed with the flu. I don’t realize you could get the flu in the summer, in Georgia. I’m hoping to be over it soon. I did do some laundry today. But that’s it. I bought myself a bread maker for my birthday. I did the first step to cleaning it. I also bought a new vacuum. One with a cord that the battery won’t die on. It’s still in the box. I’m not in the mood to mess with anything right now. I try to use plant based cleaners. The only thing I use that’s not great is Clorox cleaner on my white sink when it won’t come clean. I use something called ECOS. I buy it from Amazon, and it smells citrusy. Then I buy a different ECOS to clean the bathroom. And I use a steam mop on the floor. I’m not sure it gets the floor clean. But I don’t use chemicals if I don’t have to. And I’m really sensitive to smells. Don’t go with mini blinds. Our house came with them and I don’t like them. I have three small dogs and my house is so dusty. The blinds are always gross. Mainly in my living room and our bedroom. Where the dogs are the most. I have curtains at my kitchen window. Because I have plants in the sill and can’t close the blinds. We live in the country and if the kitchen was in the back of the house I wouldn’t care. But it’s in the front. A person would have to eight foot tall to look in there. But you never know what could happen. So I got a tension rod and put cafe curtains on the window. I can imagine your exhaustion. I’m tired just watching you on this video.

We’ve built 3 times and bought a home like you were describing earlier. The frame was up when we bought it. We are getting too old to do it again. Maybe 1 more time. Idk lol.

I love your carpet. It looks like a great quality and color. A lot of people don't clean the whole house for the new owners but I think it's so thoughtful. I thought you did a great job organizing the move and having to pack for 5 people. Now that the house is empty you can see what good quality everything is. I forgot about the interest rate. It's so high now. Were you able to get a good interest rate? Can't wait to see the new house.

I'm excited for an empty house tour. My only suggestion would be don't setup and share one room at a time. Some RUclipsrs do that and take 2 months to share an entire house. I get that there's money involved, but it's beyond frustrating.

Method cleaning products have been discontinued in Australia because they ARE toxic and they were falsely claiming not to be. It's a shame as I used their products all the time but can't buy them here any more. Can't wait to see the new house.

Just curious. Do the new buyers know you are removing the light fixtures? I thought you sold the house as is. Removing all of your belongings of course, but light fixtures? What if the new buyers loved the fixtures?
When are you and your family moving into the new house
I wouldn't pay someone to clean. It's expensive and they never clean as good as you would. You always have to go back and check the work because they never do it right. That was just my experience but you may have a better group of cleaners. I think I would have cleaned the first floor one day and the second floor the next day. But you did a great job and the good part is you burned a lot of calories.

I think watching this made me feel 2 different ways…excited for your new place but sad because of all you have done with the house…from the massive declutterring, room makeovers, yard makeover…it just seems like all that work and now you aren’t going to enjoy the fruits of your labor in that home anymore. That's the instant gratification of knowing what you're doing is working though. Watching someone just wag a rag around isn't very satisfying. You want to see how much you got. In fact that's why a lot of people actually clean. You assume your rug isn't that dirty but then you see how bad the shampooer is and realize you haven't done that in years.
