Ive been a cavs fan for 30 years...Mitchell was just coming off injuries heading into the playoffs. JB played him an insane amount of minutes in the playoffs to the point where Mitchell got hurt again. You cant play your star to death and expect to keep your job...so I dont blame the cavs for firing him.........

You're right, but probably more to it behind the scenes. I think Mitchell was vocal to management about it, said he would leave if Bickerstaff stayed. It had to go this way. I love this team. I'm 90. I hope 2016 isn't my only one.

Without mitchell playing a vast number of mins, the cavs wouldn't have got out of the first round, it was literally their only hope of beating above average orlando

if he doesnt play him then the league fwill fine the cavs for load management. you want him to do what carlise did and sit the starters for 9minutes?

Jb was just a starter coach nothing more nothing less. I’m from Cleveland and Jb definitely hit his ceiling. His rotations maid no sense. He rarely could adjust especially in crucial moments. He never developed any type of go to moves or shots for Mobley. I wish him the best. If you have a group of young talents that need galvanized into a respectable level then Jb is your guy however that’s we’re the buck stops.🤷🏽‍♂️

This was a move to get JJ Reddick if the Lakers choose someone else..that would make LeBron think about opting out .cavs have the #20 pick, they can use that to take bronny as a further incentive..the pelicans can hurt the Lakers by opting to take this years #17 pick and ending their chances to get bronny

@@kych2008 this goes back to last year and some of this year.
He puts players in the dog house for way too long. IE Cedi and Lamar Stevens last year. Specifically when we were getting BULLIED last year against the knicks he kept doing the same thing over and over.
This year, similar thing, we have no rebounding and toughness and he's got morris just rotting away on the bench and he's playing Niang. Dude stunk it up in the playoffs and low and behold the last game Morris absolutely tears up boston.
