Great demo Great sound. Well done.
You are definitely not a beginner !!! Very good review ! Thanks !
Damn you are good most RUclips reviewers and not at such a high level or they are just 100 mile high gain shredders.
I too bought a Sire S3(with bridge bucker)a few weeks ago---also from Andertons, and I thought it was a good deal at £279 but yours at £239 is a steal 😊 It arrived perfectly set up and even in tune. Quite honestly I am shocked....at how good it is. It plays perfectly and the pickups suit me down to the ground, probably because it doesn't sound like your typical Strat. It's a lot warmer and less strident, which I like. I have an old Mexican Standard Roland Ready Strat and it beats the pants off that. I shall definitely be getting another Sire--maybe more than one!
Hey that sounds really nice!
I've owned my new black S3 for two weeks now. it is absolutely badazz !! I've read comments with people talking about replacing the pickups. There is no way I would ever do that to this guitar.
That's a nice guitar Andy! I have a Sire T7 and it's one of my favorite guitars. It's quite unique even though it's a T-Style Instument. It has a character of its own. The neck has a wonderful feel. I have considered getting one of the Sire S-Style guitars, so your video helps a lot (My son has the H7). Plus, you always make any guitar you play sound so very good! Stay blessed and thanks for your offering to this forum!
Nice, I'd like to check out the T7 at some point! Some very cool finishes and they do have their own character, as you say, rather than just being a Fender copy.
Anderton's have the S7 in Vintage White available for £399 right now. Seems like a steal. I love my 40th Anniversary Squier though, got it for £252, and then put a Fender USA 57/62 pre wired pick guard on it that I got from Amazon for £218, for £470 total it's an incredible guitar.
Also have a Sire T7, and the roasted maple neck with the rolled edges is quite special, so tempted by their other guitars honestly.
I also own the H7 and 40th ann. strat. Love them both. Really looking forward to the comparison between the 40th ann. strat and this S3. I was eying the S7 for a while before i purchased the squier. But the S3 seems interesting as well. The H7 made me fell in love with Sire.
Nice playing Sir❤😊
That looks very nice for the money, and sounds perfectly reasonable too! Looks like a Wilkinson tremolo too, interested to see how you rate that against the traditional unit in the Squier. Colour is subjective but the Squier looks good enough to eat! Looking forward to the full review.
Funnily enough a school student of mine recently commented that the Squier looked like it was made of cake…. 😆 It’s not a Wilkinson trem, but similar style (made by Sire themselves I think) - possibly a bit more stable than the vintage Fender style with 6 screws!
you may want to stretch the strings if there going in and out
I presume they are new out of the box👍
I have the 40th. I got it for $318 and I don't really care for the pickups at all. Everything else is great, I just havent bonded with it like the Bullit.
Nice playing. How would you rate this compared to a Classic Vibe?
Hey Andy! I had a question. Does the trem bar wobble weird (have play) like strats without a termolo arm tension spring?
It's a different design (with a grub screw on the side of the hole) so in theory that shouldn't be a problem if you tighten it enough 👍🏻
@@AndyWattGuitar Awesome! I just wanted to confirm as I've read a couple of reviews online talking about a wobbly trem issue. I have a squier strat that wobbles because i don't get tension springs in my country.
I've been looking for a good strat and most importantly, one with a smooth, non-wobbly trem arm. I've scoured the internet for an answer on this specific trem but haven't found an answer yet. Thanks!
Do you prefer squier 40th or sire s3?
Both great, just slightly different! This comparison may be of interest: ruclips.net/video/5jcBiGE2vFA/видео.html
