- Every night after her late night snack, Minnie sings the songs of her people. (Don't worry, Minnie is very healthy, gets yearly check ups, and she's been doing this for years. Some cats just like to say thank you after a good meal!)

Most likely speaking to the other entities that are around us that we can't see but cats (and dogs) can - because their eyes operate in a different way to ours.
Minnies singing caught my cats attention and now.. They are frantically looking all over the house for her 😅

That plaintive howl is Minnie's call to her family alerting them that she is missing them in the nighttime whether or not they are home asleep.

Our Tom cat years ago made this sound. You catch them at it they deny they made a noise. they never do that in front of you only alone.

My roommate's cat used to make sounds like that. We figured it was the cat telling us she caught her toy (hunting), but now, I'm not so sure. Hmmm....
Sounds a lot like Hello?. She's looking for you. They get lonely, maybe a bit spooked, especially when left alone at home, or when it's quiet at night and everyone's sleeping. They're still nocturnal after all, even though they can adapt to people's patterns of sleeping at night. It's a long time to wait till the family is awake.

That’s the sound cats make when they don’t feel well, maybe stomach issues , nausea that’s why she was moving her mouth a lot , they do that movement when they are nauseated
Be mindful to pay closer attention to their meows , because it’s not always fun and games
