Thanks for the preview. I own Floriani Embroidery Suite, which I'm assured will be replaced by FTC-U. For the heck of it, I just downloaded the Perfect Embroidery Pro from the link you provided, and when I launch it, a program called Perfect Embroidery Suite is what I get. Isn't that interesting - it knows enough to know that's what I currently have installed, so doesn't even give me the demo version of the full program. Just thought I'd share.
Hi Brad, I love all your work with Floriani. There is one new software, My Design Album by Floriani that I am having a very difficult time just setting it up to even start to use. I hope you would make a RUclips video on this topic. Thank you.
Brad, I have subscribed to your channel for a while and have learned a great deal from you. You are an excellent teacher and I thank you. My question is this, I would like to get the perfect embroidery pro update, I already have FTCU installed but have not actually done anything yet. I have watched your first impressions video and as usual, learned a lot. Can I do the quick download from the website as you said and still be able to get the cd? I would want a cd for when I get a new computer in the future. I called DIME and left a message, but have not heard back yet. Thanks again Brad.
I don't think so. However, to update in the future, you should still be able to install ftcp on your new computer and activate it, then install the PEP software.

Seems cool, but I'm skeptical that this is a means to charge for updates. Will there be a cost for updating to Floriani Total Control-U? Since DIME is taking over TCP and renaming it to Perfect Embroidery Pro and its no longer Floriani software, will it now cost for updates?
pretty sure both suite and FTC can upgrade to the new one with the same file but I am not 100% sure. I'll ask my contact at DIME tomorrow to be sure, but in the mean time it doesn't hurt to try!
Thank You Brad! Answered a lot of questions I had. I got the U 4 days ago and so far it seems to have most of my favorite features from Masterworks and PE Design. The auto digitize (which I rarely use) is quite good but the photo stitch doesn't come close to Brother's PE Design. U tools are easier to get to and color changes are now a snap. I'm still going to download the Perfect Embroidery Pro you showed just to see if they are competitive. Thanks again, and if you have anybody in your shop that needs help with PE Design Next please refer them to my RUclips tutorials "oleensembroidery". Kathleen
yeah i just got the software this morning and LOLed at how similar it is to masterworks II. good old pulse digitizing software. Yeah, photo stitch is never gonna work as good as palette/pe design cause they have that tech patented. On the whole, I like it, since I like masterworks. Full video with my thoughts to follow!
Brad Martin That's what I got started on good old Tajima Pulse. Have used many more since but have settled with Pe Design and Floraini. Between the two I have not come across anything they can not do.

from what I was told, both softwares will have free updates for life.

How do we remove overlaps in ftcu
for the moment you have to do it manually with the shape tool, but it will hopefully be added in an update soon
