Oh wow, John spoke very thoughtfully about his views and convictions, and I have to say, that was awesome! I just love how he and his band make the music they make to cater to not just Christians, but people from all walks of life, ya know? Music has the power to unite hearts together, ya know? That's pretty awesome in my book! Praise be to God, and may Skillet rock on, Amen! :D Also, I'm so stoked for their Unleashed album! I can't wait to finally hear their new songs! :D
When I was in high school, there was one idiot who wanted to stop people listening to Skillet's music on school grounds because he believed them to be 'Devil Worshipping Satanists', imagine how much of an idiot he looked when I explained how they were Christian Rock.
I had just mentioned on a guitar interview with Seth Morrison how much he looks like Lincoln Brewster and wondered if they were influences and now I see John Cooper on this one without his beard but his hair looks like Lincoln and Seth, only black! Cool coincidence?
He and all the group do great job. I'm Muslim, so I disagree with some details of their faith, but the Skillet music is completly worshipping God and that is the point. I like their music very much.
