    Boostane is meant to be used with a tune specifically for it (increased timing, afr correcting, ect ), just like you should have a separate tune for when running race gas, same thing. Alone, of course it won't do anything, if anything its worse...because you have to tune for it, in order to take advantage of the ability to run more timing, without detonation, where it and race gas shines.

      This is wrong kind of. Cars with variable timing can add a ton of power if the computer can see it can add timing and you arnt knocking. But yes you are right that most cars you need to tune. Newer cars like mustangs and Camaros etc you see 10-30hp by adding this to 91 octane cause gas station fuel is terrible.

    The point of Boostane is to TUNE for it. It’s not gonna do shit just adding it to the tank.

    Cleetus got +55% HP on naturally aspirated LS just using a mix of ethanol and Nitromethane. TQ went from 304 to 489 !!! INSANE!

    You have a few issues here. First off you put wayyy to much in. The concentration is too high, especially for a non tuned vehicle. Second doesn't look like you let it mix properly. You need to use about a gallon of gas to get it properly mixed. Since you put too much in, expect to replace your spark plugs and risk misfiring if you dont.

    I just run 93 and call it a day.. I'm on an ECUtek tune and happy with it. It's a juke. I've learned my lessons with this car already. It's not the kind of car that your going to make super fast.. I have never seen one do lower than 13's no matter how much power the cars were making.. It's funny because there's not much difference in speed between a 300HP juke and a 225HP juke. There really isn't. I'm yet to see one of these cars break into 12's.. The Juke is fun as hell but, I'm going big on my next car that's for sure. If it's not over 400 HP stock I'm not buying it...

      I hate Honda’s but you could buy a shitty civic strip it go buy a b18 throw rods and pistons in it and a big turbo easily make 350hp+ in a light ass car and it would a whole lot cheaper than trying to buy something that already has 400hp

      @@hanzgrueber145 Honestly I love my Juke it's been Real!! But I have found that these cars are slower, The more power you make.. Like as soon as you get above 300 Wheel Torque the cars aren't even safe.. They spin the wheels all the way to 5th gear and it's near impossible to get the power to the road... The front wheel sticks and the way the wheel base and distance from front to back are all wrong for quarter mile racing.. I spin wheels and break the wheel lose at 40 Miles an hour with my CVT, But I am tuned to 256 Lb's of torque to the wheels.. I think it's great seeing people make this kind of power with these cars.. But it's wasted because there's no AWD system with a real gear box like Subaru.. And that is why no more money goes into my Juke unless it's for Maintenance.. I don't really list WHP even though I am at around 260 the number's because for me that changes from summer to winter..

    • @DebtLife_Projects
      @DebtLife_Projects 3 года назад +3

      Exactly, the whole point is to be an alternative to race gas, which both are specifically for allowing more timing without detonation. Pointless without being tuned for.

    Octane has nothing to do with a fuels ability to be more powerful. Octane is simply a rating of a fuels ability to not precombust due to heat and or pressure to prevent the knock sensors from pulling timing. If you not getting knock and timing being pulled, octane is of zero benefit.
