Actually I would buy this Logitech Z625 to replace my Altec Lansing Octane 7 after a very satisfied 12 years of service. However, due to the price, eventually I buy Altec Lansing Kube BT3011 which its price is just half of this Z6125.

Z623 - class ab amplifier Z625 - class d amplifier Z623 has more low bass effects than z625 Both when connected to THX sound card, z623 gives more studio quality performance than the z625.
If youre strictly listening to music look into the bookshelf speaker option. JBL, Sony, Klipshe, and so many more brands that you can find around the 100$ range, you will need an external amplifier if its not active though. These are great for everything though, not just music :)
Haha you again 🤣. I've asked same question to a channel host who have both the systems. And his answer was that, for deep low end bass,z623 is better than bar 5.1. for mids and highs,hands down,JBL wins

Even though jbl 5.1 has wireless subwoofer, so we can put wherever the bass notes deep but Logitech is like big sumo and wired, so in some room only feel the deep notes.

Not sure if you still reply to these comments but, what was the best volume and bass knob settings you found to be for the Z625?
I never crossed more than 60% bass and volume of between 70-80% max *above 80% the woofer driver will go crazy and does not sound good..
