I remember these Kyosho ducted fan models back in the 90's. I own a Kyosho T-33, it was overweight and underpowered back in the days of the NiCd battery and brushed motors , but still an excellent model. I have since modified it with brushless motor and LiPo, and it flies like a completely different model. These models are way ahead of their time and electronics technology did not catch up until the late 2000's. It got me started into ducted fan modelling.
Hello guys very cute the Lear I loved has a very good flight apparently the train does not hold anything breaks very easy. I send you a big greeting for all 😃👍👍.
I love the Nerve Dance, I know that one too!!! Nice flying, and great camera work as usual!!! Flapperons, full length flapperons would be a great help!!!
True! I hate the way outboard flapperons work, but full length flapperons seem to treat me well. Hope you have a chance to try it out....of course we know inboard flaps would work for sure :)
Looks like the old Kyosho Learjet from years ago. That as I remember had brushed motors and was meant for two 7 cell NiCad packs. They used to fly but the grass had to be bowling green quality or you had to have a paved runway. Flys nice and nice to see a model from my earlier electric days.
Nice, now I want one, love the Lear series, beautiful jet aircraft, footnote William Lear also designed the first long play (LP) album and the 8-track tape and as you see the Lear jet...
Agreed with your cameraman that you were standing at the wrong side...and beware of several unsuccessful landing because you will lose the power and your jet will self landing in the bush...haha..happy flying
Lovely plane . Always loved the Learjets. Flown very well too! Although my toes were curling thinking the battery was about to go flat after the third go around lol.
I want to build a model of the model 35, with 40mm EDF’s. No experience in building models, what is the simplest method for the main parts, 3D printing, balsa/sheet frame with skin or carved foam? Im mostly interested in the engines, how to mount the EDF’s, how to make it strong enough and how to make it look at least a bit like the real thing?
Nice flying, a bit never raking for the pilot flying maiden on a modified bird. I agree with most people that flaps would help other than that, great job keeping the plane in one piece!
I have a kit like this. One of my projects is install retracts and brushless edfs! Would you please tell me what is the configuration used in this plane? (motor, speed, retracts, lipo size) Thank you so much!
Honestly the black stripe at the nose cone better be curved to the sharp point of the nose cone to make it look prettier and elegant...my opinion..the rest is perfect.. I agreed with a comment that you should do belly landing on grass..or hand launch. Thanks
I'd actually like to know what material that improvised runway is made of... Seems to work alright. Might come in handy for the average small foamie, if your club only has a grass field.
wish i was standing there while you were flying. i was saying, man, you should bring the landing gear up and just belly land it. the grass is going to tear that landing gear up boy. then you landed what looked like a perfect landing but , dang it, i was right. sorry
And hand launch or bungee launch. No thanks Mark. Much prefer taking off from wheels despite it's difficulties. James will get it fixed. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
It's made up of ply formers to hold most of the gear, generally monocoque though. the body and wings are covered in an odd thin foam sheet like depron but higher density with a fine plastic laminate (a bugger to repair)
the Chinese characters on the arms are making sense 驰骋,kind of horses run very fast, but the four on the chest I have not idea. I mean I know each of them but together no sense... and I am Chinese
No i take advice quite well. I have been flying rc for about 6 years now. Started off flying sport. First plane was a 55 inch epo cessna 178. Second was a 57 inch 3dhs extra 330sc. Since then i fly exclusively pattern and 3d. Havent crashed a plane since i puffed a battery in the 57 extra. Have had several sponsorships including twisted hobbies spot on and local hobby shops. Owned 3 90+ inch airframes and one 103 extra 330 from 3dhs. When i go to the flying field there are people waiting to ask me to fly their 4000 dollar airplanes so they can take video of their planes doing things they will never do with them on the sticks. So actually yes i have taken my share of advice to get to this point. However there is a difference between being knowledgeable and just running your mouth cause you think you know more than someone else. This guy did just fine flying his own plane that he rebuilt himself. No reason for him to walk across a mangled field and risk crashing his plane cause you think its weird he lands between you and him. I doubt this is a ama regulated field so he can do whatever he wants or stand where he wants.
Really didnt need your life history Ron! It's a BMFA affiliated field actually. We have a pilot line. If you dont think its a good idea for folks to stand on or behind the pilot line then I'm thinking you need lots more advice despite all that experience. LOL. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
A Brit wouldnt call someone a w and m8 in the same sentence so I had worked that out. Its one or the other. Please dont go to the effort of long replies. It would be wasted effort.

What a great looking plane!! Great effort. She survived for another run. Looked like CG was spot on. Congrats on the maiden.
Hello guys very cute the Lear I loved has a very good flight apparently the train does not hold anything breaks very easy. I send you a big greeting for all 😃👍👍.
Very nice twin EDF, landing is usually tricky with EDFs if you don't have hard surface. But this is easy to repair.
I love the Nerve Dance, I know that one too!!! Nice flying, and great camera work as usual!!!
Flapperons, full length flapperons would be a great help!!!
Brian Phillips flaps are on 2 servos so guess that should be easy to set up.
True! I hate the way outboard flapperons work, but full length flapperons seem to treat me well. Hope you have a chance to try it out....of course we know inboard flaps would work for sure :)
Wow! beautiful scaled model...

Cunnie Funt lol 😄😄
Should have read it first! 😄😄

Great camera-work!

Wow superb video sir
Nice model, good video work. Nice to see an update.

Lovely plane . Always loved the Learjets. Flown very well too! Although my toes were curling thinking the battery was about to go flat after the third go around lol.
That thing flew nicely!
SkidzFPV mdanreh
Nice flying man , best looking /flying learjet that I've seen. Should have belly landed with wheels up.
Yeah I should have flared also, :) Freaked out after so many missed approached. Practice makes perfect.
Fpv STUNT
Nice looking jet! Landing was ok just hard!!
its better to land with the gear retracted , just go for belly landings, take off on gear its fine, beautiful take-off too
What a runway!
How much more efficient are ducted fans than propellers?
Did you think a 6s setup gonna be to heavy?

That's a beauty 👌

good stuff, she flies good,, gotta beef up that landing gear!!!,,,,
Love the Lear..Looking for a jet 24
I have a kit like this. One of my projects is install retracts and brushless edfs! Would you please tell me what is the configuration used in this plane? (motor, speed, retracts, lipo size) Thank you so much!
Bruno Malachias 2 cheap ‘mystery’ 64mm brushless motors, and 2 60a esc. 5200 4s battery. Retracts are from hobbyking.
I wish I had money to build one for myself HAHAHHAHAHA
Honestly the black stripe at the nose cone better be curved to the sharp point of the nose cone to make it look prettier and elegant...my opinion..the rest is perfect..

Thanks for the comments Rodzi, was thinking the same thing. Watch out for Pt2, you will see the stripe change.

I'd actually like to know what material that improvised runway is made of... Seems to work alright. Might come in handy for the average small foamie, if your club only has a grass field.
I think it was some type of roofing felt but I'll ask James to respond with specific details. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Yeah, roofing underlay stuff, had a load left over from a shed (screwfix)
Great, thanks guys! Will have a look what's available in shops, here.
When Horizon hobby brings sth out like this i will buy it directly
Why do you have a Nintendo 64 jumper
wish i was standing there while you were flying. i was saying, man, you should bring the landing gear up and just belly land it. the grass is going to tear that landing gear up boy. then you landed what looked like a perfect landing but , dang it, i was right. sorry

On a side note, have you managed to get the tomahawk to ballence. And if so, how far back?
I'll ask Al (the owner and pilot) to let you know. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

This jet is not made any more. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Repaired and flaps added. Here’s the vid: ruclips.net/video/F0RuJ6aCOS8/видео.html
hi I would just take out the retracks and belly land it...like I did with the hobbyking vampire..thx mark from the uk..
And hand launch or bungee launch. No thanks Mark. Much prefer taking off from wheels despite it's difficulties. James will get it fixed. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Great job on a crappy field.
RC MADNESS dr
Its EPO? or Balsa?
Wood frame I think but James the owner will comment and clarify. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

Mamonas Assassinas 😢
it looks similar to a lear 35.. lol
Would have been better without the shouting orders in the background.
Very rough takeoff
Rough flying field. We don't fly there any more. We were always breaking all of our jets that had retracts.
Ooooo
Bro tell me about this how to make engine
Google is your friend Bro
Show air planes, Brasil ok.

the Chinese characters on the arms are making sense 驰骋,kind of horses run very fast, but the four on the chest I have not idea. I mean I know each of them but together no sense... and I am Chinese
ha... some rubbish I got off the internet :)
Hello Dom, what pity of your filming expertise that has been spent on such a poor quality model.
It's not that bad Jos. I thought quite interesting model actually. Not something you see every day. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
