Exact opposite experience for me, for whatever it's worth to those reading this. I've placed 6 orders with CZP and 3 of them have had issues. First an intake hard pipe wasn't cut to the correct length, then a knock sensor was wired incorrectly, and lastly there was a week long ordeal trying to get an order straightened out for some brake parts (the distributor they used sent me used rotors). I haven't had a single issue yet with Z1 - even used parts I've ordered from them have been in good condition.
Hey Jesse, I just picked up a Z32, I opened the hood this morning and now it won’t close all the way. The hood is down but is slightly open, I tried brake cleaner and WD40 because the latch itself was hard to push down. It loosened up but still won’t catch the hood properly. Any suggestions on what I could do ? I need all the help I can get. Thank you
Congratulation son the New car! With out seeing it its hard to say but latch maybe off center or bound up. WD40 is a good start, could maybe try and adjust the position of the latch (Just a little bit) I think there are 3 bolts that hold the latch
Here’s is the answer: concept z has more in stock while z1 for being more popular they get out of stock a lot of times will recommend both but some parts are cheaper in z1 and others in concept Z
@@BuildTheoryZ I mean they are good parts with great quality but sometimes concept z has cheaper ones for the same brand and they are good and sometimes z1 has cheaper parts than concept z but if I had to choose one it would have to be concept z because they got extremely good customer service
I had a red/black 96 300zx tt in 1996 when I was in high school and I kept it for about 6 years. I remember that the headliner was shrinking and pulling away from the edges all over the place. The big airbag steering wheel was ugly. The T Top latches were both broken off, not the handles, but the lock latches. A couple of the radio buttons stuck in and wouldn't come back out. The air bags in the seats would inflate but would fairly quickly deflate. With that being said - I absolutely loved that car and I'm back in the market for one of these beauties. Do you think it's worth it to just buy the lowest mileage model I can find? If parts are so hard to find, and I see that they are, it seems like the way to go is to just save the headache and just get one that's as low mileage as possible. I don't care about modding it, aside from wheels and tires.
Bernie. Best chance of finding NLA OEM parts. Z1 is decent - both them and CZP run into the occasional higher-volume problems, order mix-ups, etc. Specialty Z is also excellent, but that's premium content... and you definitely pay for that premium. For the most part, that is - their intercoolers and piping kit is less expensive than the comparable Z1 BA kit. That's on my list for next year.
I have a question: Is it compatible with modern part for 1986 300zx
For some reason I have better experience with CZP; instead of Z1 Motorsport. Z1 had made many mistakes with my orders.

Great vid. I think I’m getting a 300zx 2+0. I live close to you in Fruitland
Is a knock sensor code something you should fix immediately? I hear it’s a common problem, and is relocating it an engine out job?
