I looked at all the Chinese sites you can buy screens from and there is no VRR OLED at that size. Only seen to be 14 inch or more so they'd probably need to get someone to manufacture it so would cost much more 😢. Hopefully that'll come soon. 8 inch would be sick
I think the switch 2 is going to have an open dock like this and magnetic joy cons this time around at least that’s what has been floating around the internet it’s also going to have a 1080p screen and Nvidia upscaling tech and frame generation I don’t know the exact specs but I think it will be comparable to at least the og steam deck
This version fixes the sd reader problem from the first one and does away with the proprietary e gpu in Favor of thunder bolt 4 so you can use any desktop GPU now.

I literally cancelled my order as I found out it didn't have OLED, even steam deck which is 200usd cheaper has OLDED

I am Valve fan, love Steam Deck, but after I bought Ally X I didnt touch SD at all, feels obsolete now.

You can install Bazite on it you can even duel boot using the sd card or swap out the ssd for a larger one and do it from there .

would of loved to see 4 back buttons for the price. my legion I make use of all my extra buttons on every game I play. 2 is not enough

It's easy, but you'll need to consider heat and power management. 1080 on a 7 inch is fine
On a small screen like that it isn't worth it. It will eat up a lot of your battery and cpu for little benefit.
