Been sharing this around and I think (Though I can’t definitely prove one way or the other) that I got you a couple extra $30 packages sold. I’m really excited about this and everything I’ve read in it so far looks awesome!
I'm already chomping at the bit to release the 2nd larger playtest package. But I'm gonna be smart and wait to process this feedback I've been getting first to do tweaks before I do that lol
How long do you expect early access to run. If that’s is until it is ready, will there be a reminder and warning to back before it’s too late? Juggling bills and procrastination can get the better of me.
I can't say for sure. A lot of work for the core is done, but we're in brainstorming a lot of new content still, plus I want to test the new stuff well. Likely under the 6 month mark. Edit: follow to my Kofi, and there will be a post before early Access ends
I gotta be honest, I have no fucking clue what this game is about or why I should be interested in it. The description takes a real kitchen sink approach. It's got everything! But doesn't tell me what I as a GM can do with all that everything or why a player would want me to do anything with it at all. I'm not trying to be disrespectful or insulting, I would very much like for this to be an amazing RPG setting and I absolutely see the potential for something in the description given. I remain optimistic that this is a good product as you seem authentically passionate about it which is always a good sign.
Sure. I mean it's a Science Fiction Survival Horror set in a specific setting using the Cypher System as it's core engine. But that's all on the video already. Do you actually have a specific question about it?
@@Qedhup That's a fair question. A GM and a player will both want to know the answer to the same important question: what's the party supposed to be doing? In D&D we're dungeon crawling and murder hoboing. In Call of Cthulhu we're investigating mysteries that involve cosmic horrors that can kill us or drive us mad if we're not very very careful, all for little or no pay. In Vampire the Masquerade we're too cool for school vampires trying to navigate the many intrigues of vampire society while carving ourselves a nice little niche in it, all while doing cool acrobatics with guns and sword canes. What are we doing in Voidhome?
@@h8uall66 also a fair question. This is based on the Cypher system, so it's default focus is on exploration and discovery. However when starting a campaign the group can pick from a scenario which tailors the game to it a bit. So Bounty Hunters would have a different setup than something like Space Truckers, or the Lost & Afraid scenario. But it's primarily about exploring this new environment, trying to find out what dangers are out there, while finding new things to give humanity an edge in this strange place.
@@Qedhup OK, now I'm getting a much better picture of the game. So it's about exploration and resource management/scavenging in an horrific region of space/time where even the laws of physics can betray you, and that's to say nothing of the strange entities and creatures that could do the same. Sounds great!

I love hearing the clear passion you have for this. Good luck with the release!
Thanks! It's a niche genre in a niche hobby. So I'm sure it'll fail spectacularly. But hell, if even one group likes it, then why not :)
