My friend connected speakers to his 1944 John Deere beautifully restored model B to play this song while driving it in the Comfort Texas 4th July for the past 2 years. We love this song.
I now live in a small community again. I grew up in a small community and I was a child and this is a bridge between my younger years in my older years I’m not so young anymore. But I do love these this song and anybody says anything against it I dare you come live in a small town 2500 people you’ll find it right up your alley
I now live in town 4500 people. I never heard the song until I moved here. I live in a town with over 4 million people. Now I get it. And it is funny as hell.
This is a cool music video to go along with the song. My Grandpa liked this song so much that he wouldn't play the other songs on the polka for the health of it cd. He ended up having to buy 3 or 4 more CDS because he kept playing the John Deere Polka so many times and would wear the CD out.
Great Polka, brings back so many memories
there are no words other than:"Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop" that popped into my head after watching this little ditty!

Looks like three bottom plow to me!
He sings about a two bottom plow, and he's using a three bottom in the video.
3ea 14 inch bottoms. if you pull a 2 bottom plough they would be 16 inch. I know cause this is what I grew up with.
The rest of us have no idea :)
You have to use what you have.
